The owner reported the need for a repair of overhead light/fan the day before our arrival and said that it would have to wait until after we left three days later. I responded that we were not at all happy about this and would appreciate it if she could have the work done before our 4 pm check-in time. We were quite pleased to see that she did indeed have the work done before our arrival. Excellent communications and follow-through in my view!
Inside the unit we saw other small things needing repairs. The refrigerator handle fell off because the screws were loose and a floor lamp had a broken plug. Intending to fix these myself, I went to a hardware store and purchased some screws and a plug, but I never got around to it as I got sick and had to be hospitalized on our last day.
Overall, we felt that the rental was a good, quality value and was described by the owner correctly.

Nice place to stay. But if you do not like to walk or ride a bike it would not be good for you. Taxi both ways would cost a lot everyday. We rented bikes and road up to Duval and road to FT. Zackery State park and all over the island so it worked out nice for us.

Ok location.

Overall disappointed due to it being such a cramped space, even for a single occupant (cannot imagine having 4 people there as listing states as occupancy capacity). Bathroom would not be usable for a large frame (or near term pregnant) person - only 14 inch clearance between vanity and shower to access the narrow toilet area (I am average build and had to rurn sideways to get to the toilet). Bed is stuck in an alcove with 6 inches clearance on both sides, so you must crawl in and out from the bottom. Futon is extremely uncomfortable to sit on, and TV is situated on the right - I guess you are expected to sit on the end of the bed to watch TV. Dishes are stacked in open space under microwave and must be washed before use. cooking pans are horrible - no matter how much butter or oil, everything sticks to them - impossible to do simple scrambled eggs!, and there isn't even a spatula.
Patio is not usable unless you want to spend the time cleaning up the leaves and wiping down the plastic furniture.

Overall stay was good with no complaints. Restroom is small but manageable for what needs to be done. Location is within 15 minutes of Duval St if walking.

Perfect area to be staying. Choice to walk or bike ride around town, to the beach, restaurants, etc. very convenient.

Great location, but as others have commented, bathroom is minuscule. Barely room to shower.
We didn’t have any hot water for the 4 days we stayed but owner gave us a small compensation. ($100)
She had a handyman come on the day we were leaving.
Owner suggested we shower at the public bathrooms at the beach.
Overall, we liked the place but were disappointed with the shower/bathroom situation.

Small but very convenient. The property manger is very nice and accommodating. The environment is very safe. We walked to Duvall Street daily sometimes twice daily which is almost a mile away.

Studio is big enough for two adults. Bathroom is small. Central location. We walked to the ferry terminal and to the docks to catch the sunset sail excursion.

Only problem was finding key location first night. After that, piece of cake

The key storage is impossible to get into at night in the pouring rain. There needs to be a light so you can see. The bathroom is very small. If you are larger than a size 14 you will not be able to get to the toilet. The bed is hard. The location is good. Quiet neighborhood.

Very clean. Exactly what we needed for a quick 3 night get-a-way from Indiana. Sheets and bedding were very comfortable.

We were looking for a budget friendly place in Key West within walking distance to the historic district. Also wanted a place with a small kitchen to make coffee and simple meals. Although this place could use some updating, it was perfect for a four night stay.

Left a day early, and went to a hotel! Very noisy, in the airport flight path and slamming doors in the middle of the night. Rental has a permanent upstairs resident which added to the late night noise. During our stay the upstairs drain pipes were leaking fowl-smelling waste water onto the patio just outside the door to this rental unit. They reported turning off the water and the sludge was no longer dripping (although the smell was still there) but the plumbers visit kept getting postponed—I wonder if it was ever fixed???? Bad communication about the Wi-Fi network name and password--those things need to be precise!

Everything was nice and easy from start to finish. The property was exacly what we needed, and was a short walk in all directions to restaurants, bars, and the beach.

The place was in a perfect location. The room was ok but the bathroom was way too small. The shower was too hard to shower because it was too cramped. Also someone of any size could not even use the toilet because of such a small bathroom.

We loved the area and the vrbo we stayed in. It was like a small apartment that had everything we needed to make us feel at home. The only room that was a little too small was the bathroom. But that really did not bother us since we were there to see the sites and enjoy a week of sunshine. This rental would not be ideal for someone who uses a wheelchair since it is not ADA equipped. The host was very easy to contact, which helped us during our stay. She was very quick in repairing an issue and we greatly appreciate her doing that for us. Overall, the rental unit was awesome. It is quite a walk to Duval Street, but that was ok since we used the car.
