Nestled in Okaloosa Island, this lovely condo for $979 per night is a great option for your next vacation. This is the view you have been dreaming about!!! Front and center with straight on, unobstructed, views of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico! This condo overlooks those gorgeous white sand beaches and emerald waters that this part of Florida is famous for! From glorious mornings reeling in the first catch of the day to exciting days chasing waves and splashing in the waters and then relaxing evenings on the balcony sipping wine as you watch the sun disappear into the waters beyond the fishing pier - this condo offers pure bliss for everyone! Location, location, location! We are literally next door to the landmark fishing pier and The BoardWalk (with shopping and restaurants) on one side and the Gulf Islands National Seashore on the other. Destin West Resort is amazing! There is something for everyone! Obviously, you're here for the beach, but be sure to check out the massive pool and hot-tub just below the balcony. Across the street is the lazy river... just take the walking bridge on the third floor to get there. It's the perfect spot to float in your tube and just relax! Want to get in a workout? Head down to the ground floor and there is a full gym. Destin West Resort offers amenities far above the other communities in the area. It just does not get any better! Nature and private beauty one direction, fun and entertainment the other. The living room is well accommodated with a comfy couch for snuggling in the evenings while you watch a movie. Or curl up with a good book in the cozy arm-chair with your feet up on the ottoman. The dining area can comfortably seat 4 and there is a breakfast bar with stools for even more seating in the kitchen area. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, cooking utensils, flatware, and dishes. We have it all covered! There is a Keurig in the kitchen, so if you have a favorite morning brew, bring it with you! The beds are extremely comfortable and the bathrooms are fully stocked. If there is anything you need, do not hesitate to let us know! We love sharing this piece of paradise with our guests - many become repeat guest and long-time friends!

I was here for work for three days. I chose this property and brought my kids. They absolutely loved it. It was clean. The property manager is very friendly and easy to contact.

The unit was immaculate, and had everything needed. Unfortunately for us, the weather was awful, so we didnt have the opportunity to enjoy the resort. But Bonnie was great to work with and very accomodating!

Had a wonderful time at Bonnie's Destin West Gulf Side condo. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we were looking for a one bedroom condo with a view facing the beautiful Emerald Coast. The condo is on the 4th floor and overlooks the pool and beyond that a great view of the Gulf.
This condo met all of our needs. We lived in Pensacola when we first got married and I'm originally from Fort Walton Beach and familiar with Oskaloosa Island. We took advantage of the beach chair service that the owner provides with the condo.

The location on Okaloosa Island was great!!! The restaurant and shops area right down the beach was close and easy to walk to by beach. Grocery 1.2 miles away. Kids activities across the street, food easy to access. Few steps from pool to beach was ideal. Having the beach service with chairs and umbrella included in your stay was extremely helpful. Having the lazy river a short walk across the bridge was easy too. Destin and Harbor Village 5-7 min away was nice too. We visited that area a few times. Bonnie helped us with a booking snafu and made us feel like we were staying in one of our own families places. Being that this was our first visit to the area she gave us the lay of the land once we arrived, checked in on us and was very easy to reach if we needed anything. She is an A++ host. This unit fit perfect for our family of 4. We will definitely revisit Okaloosa and Destin West again.

Bonnie was the most tremendous host. Communication was outstanding and she was so thoughtful and made sure we had everything we needed to have a great stay. Amazing location, easy walk to pier, restaurants and shopping. Large pool and lazy river was a great feature. Beach service simply icing on the cake.

The location was fabulous. We never drove anywhere except to the grocery store which was simply down the street. The condo was stocked so nicely that we needed for nothing. There are so many pools if you aren't on the beach. And for those of us that sunburn rather easily, there is even a shaded pool to enjoy. Bonnie, the property owner, goes above and beyond to make her guests happy. She even quickly responded herself when the door to the balcony wasn't working. It was promptly fixed as she didn't want us missing out on those beautiful balcony views. Bonnie is a kind soul and you can feel the warmth emanating from her. I loved everything about this stay.

We loved the stay and have been to the destin area a handful of times but we are really happy we ran across this one. We will definitely be back next year and have found the best spot for the family vacations. The location and all of the accommodations was perfect. Bonnie was great to work with and helped in anyway making the stay wonderful!!

Family of 4 stayed with ages ranging from 16 to 69. We all had a blast! Condo was amazing with easy access to pool, lazy river, and beach. Shopping within walking distance. Mrs Bonnie was great, checked in on us and was available if we needed her. We will definitely be booking with her again!

We had the very best time in Destin! Bonnie was one of the best hosts we’ve ever had using VRBO. She was so sweet and friendly and beyond easy to work with. The condo was beach front in a perfect location and walking distance to everything we needed. Thank you for everything! Highly recommended!!

Staying here is exactly what we needed. Located just 4 minutes away from the grocery store makes it quick to get food for cooking. The beach side service included was nice to know we didn't have to haul chairs and an umbrella to the beach every time we went down. The condo is close enough to the beach that you can run back for lunch very easily then return to your reserved spot. The condo was very clean and any supplies we needed were there. Getting to the other side of the resort (heated pool and lazy river) was an easy walk. Parking in the garage on floor 3.5 leaves your car within a 1-minute walk from the front door. The condo has a great view of the gulf. When we visit Fort Walton Beach/Destin again we will definitely see if this condo is available.

You will love the resorts amenities. The distance you can walk to for entertainment and food. BONNIE is the absolute best, she is very caring and quick to respond if you have any questions. She was so helpful with our first trip here. I love everything about our stay.

My family of 4 had a perfect long weekend! We grew up going to Ft Walton Beach as kids, but have been going to Destin most recently. It was fun to be back and not to have to fight so much traffic. The property was clean, well landscaped, and easy to navigate to the different pools, beach, etc. If you stay here with kids, make sure to check out Wild Willys and Ricks on the Island. Our kids had a blast there and it was reasonable for the $ to do the activities. Tips: if you go in Spring or Fall, the pool in the middle of the lazy river and the small pool at the main entrance are both heated.

From booking through our trip back home the communication and experience was first rate. The location and condo were excellent and well equipped. The host was in constant communication and provided great insight to the area and facilities. Would 100% recommend to family and friends or anyone looking at this area.

The condo was very comfortable and had everything we wanted for a very nice vacation. We really enjoyed the balcony facing the gulf and walks along the beach . We didn't have any problems but I'm sure that if something came up it would have been quickly resolved Thanks for a wonderful place to stay.

We booked the property because of the location and amenities, and we were pleasantly surprised that there was so much more than we expected. The place is cozy and well-appointed, with a wonderful ocean view. We stumbled onto the Gulfarium during a morning walk, and it quickly became a daily destination for our two young daughters to work through all of the different animal experiences.
