We loved our quick getaway to this cabin. So quant and quiet. Kids loved the hot tub. Fire pit and fireplace were perfect for the cool and rainy weather we had. Kids caught some bass and blue hill in the pond. Good times had by all.

We just completed our stay at Curly’s Cabin. Three other couples split time with us over the course of our stay. It was wonderfully relaxing for all of us!
The cabin is quaint, rustic and full of amenities! Over the years we got into the habit of bringing a lot of our own pans and other things. In this case it was totally unnecessary! Everything we needed was provided and right at our fingertips.
Several members of our group are avid fishermen and we really took advantage of the pond! We caught fish nearly every day of our stay. The catches included White Bass, Largemouth Bass, Sunfish and Channel Catfish. The only issue I had was access to the pond (there is a relatively steep incline that makes it a bit uncomfortable to fish.) My recommendation is to add a small dock or platform to fish from. Aside from this, out stay was spectacular! Our thanks to Cindy for being a terrific host! We’re planning to return again in the future!

We had an amazing time staying at Curley’s cabin and will definitely be back. Our 2 teenage sons enjoyed everything this place had to offer! We enjoyed the hot tub and even caught around 15 bass in the pond, including one 4 pounder! Very nice property and wonderful management. We thank you and WILL be back :)

My family and I had the best time at this little cabin! It’s in a beautiful, rustic little spot! And Cindy was great to work with!
Place was clean and cozy, really enjoyed the sun porch and the back porch!!
Fishing was fun, we assumed it would be like fishing in a barrel…had to work a little harder to fool those fish!!! Had a blast!
We had 6 adults and a 10 month old, not the easiest place to have a baby in, but I knew that going in, it’s doable though! It’s perfect for a family with slightly older kids, my munchkin is just busy!!
A nice place to hike if you like there being fewer people on the trail is Boch Hollow - just beautiful! We enjoyed Old Mans Cave but it was very busy, people everywhere and it’s about 40 minutes away, we enjoyed Boch Hollow a lot more and it was less than 10 minutes from the cabin!
Definitely recommend staying here, you will fall in love with the quaint pond and beautiful property!

The property had a ton of mouse poop every where. In every drawer, covering the pull out bed. We reached out to the owner who refunded us 1 night which was not adequate. There was a random man who drove up and parked on the property which the owner did not notify us of. We had 2 small kids with us and had no idea who he was. Also the pond is compltely covered with tall grass which left only a very small opening for fishing. The pictures do not look like it. Also hiking is impossile due to the awful smell of the gas well. The neighboring property had 2 small children who screamed the whole time . They also let their dogs loose and we had no idea. It was a crap experience and super disappointing.

This cabin had all the amenities of home--a kitchen with plenty of plates, cups, bowls, utensils, etc. There was a large table and comfortable chairs and couches. There is a large TV downstairs and an additional one in the loft. The wifi worked well for us. The bathroom had plenty of towels and we utilized the washer/dryer almost daily. We loved the bathroom light sensor that turns on when you go in!
The cabin does have well water. We brought our own drinking water and our own food. The closest big grocery store is in Logan, which is not far.
The stocked pond was a FAVORITE!!! The pond was the reason we booked this cabin over others in the area. My husband and son spent the majority of their time fishing and they caught: a huge carp, big bass, bluegill, red ear, and 2 different kinds of catfish. The fish liked bread and worms the best. Fishing was slow at times, but that's how fishing goes.
There is no longer the beach area by the pond, which for us, was not a deal breaker.
There are ceiling and tower fans in each bedroom. We utilized the air conditioner since we went at the end of July and it was HOT out.
We liked the ease of use for the blinds--just a simple push up or pull down. I felt a bit "exposed" at night through the back door, as there is no curtain to close. There's nothing out there except wildlife but this city girl likes to close her blinds at night.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful cabin with us! We will be back!

We had the absolute best time staying at this cabin! We never left the property unless we needed something. Had a great time fishing and sitting by the fire. This was our second time and we will be back again! Very clean and cozy cabin 😊

The setting and cabin were very cute and we enjoyed having some family time. I would have liked to seen updated photos of the property, especially around the pond and the fire pit area. The children were really looking forward to fishing in the "stocked pond" and were disappointed when they didn't catch a single fish. Overall we enjoyed the property and our time together, just thought it could have been cleaned better.

We loved the cabin and amenities. Communication was great and the area is gorgeous! There are so many things to do and see within a short drive… if you ever really want to leave the cabin, that is!

We had an amazing time relaxing and watching the wildlife across the pond. It was my first visit to America and I don’t think I could have asked for a more perfect location to spend time with friends.

Girls trip for 4 single moms and this was PERFECT! Before we even left we were ready to book it for same time next year. It was clean, start-up stocked, decorated for fall, and gave us the ambiance we needed. Hope to make it a yearly tradition.

A week of relaxing fun! We visited Old Mans Cave. Went out on Lake Logan on a pontoon boat and went horse back riding. The family enjoyed the jacuzzi and fishing in the pond. Lots of fish in the pond. The cat fish will come up to the shore and like to be feed. We went to the local Walmart and bought some fish pellets just for our fish friends.
We had a great time!

Spent a long weekend in mid-May with our college-aged children at this amazingly quiet updated cabin. The amenities are modern, including washer and dryer, well-equipped kitchen, and much appreciated AC. Hot tub a bonus. Every inch of the property was clean and tidy.
Our family delighted in unplugging to celebrate the end of our children's university terms to enjoy each other's company with the property and pond teaming with nature--birds, frogs, fish, damsel flies, deer, etc. in the background.
We spent a morning hiking at Old Man's Cave, which is about 30 minutes away. The drive there was a lovely adventure winding through hilly roads through farms.
It's perfect in our opinion and will certainly stay again.

We took our four boys on a weekend getaway. The cabin was exactly what we needed. Peaceful and relaxing. The cabin was absolutely perfect and stocked with what we needed. From all the land to hike around the property, the hot tub, the fire pit, and the pond.
My son even caught a fish in the pond. Couldn’t have asked for a better place or host.

The setting and history of the cabin are great, and we particularly enjoyed exploring the area, the fire pit and the hot tub. However we had issues with several aspects: the grill is old and I wasn’t able to heat it up to above 250 degrees, which made for difficult grilling; the carpet is pretty worn and dirty looking and we weren’t comfortable going bare foot on it; upon opening the front glass door the traction tubey thing immediately stuck and wouldn’t close (we told housekeeping about it and we just removed the tube thin so we could shut the door); the patio door lacks a screen which made it hard to keep bugs out and let fresh air in; well over half of the downstairs windows weren’t able to be locked which made us nervous about leaving valuables in the cabin when we were not there; there were literally over a hundred dead wasp/bees and ladybugs in the windows when we arrived and many dead bug carcasses on the carpeted floor — we called the housekeeper and they said the cabin had been sprayed (hence the dead swarm) but ultimately we had to find the sweeper and vacuum up the carcasses so we could keep the windows open for fresh air without having carcasses fly all over the cabin; the patio would have been great to eat out on but it was covered with leaves and nuts and the table and umbrella were filthy and cobwebby — we would have been happy to blow it off or sweep it but a good push broom was not provided. So for the price we were paying, the cleanliness issues were definitely disappointing. Perhaps we are spoiled by other cabins we have stayed at, but we have never had this number of issues before. And we are due hard campers used to bugs, so having bugs wasn’t an issue — it was having so many dead carcasses all over the inside window wells and the floor.

Very cute, cozy and rustic environment! The only complaint I have is management of bugs within the cabin. Understanding that we were in the middle of the woods, we expected SOME bugs, however there were excessive amounts of stink bugs and bees (dead and alive) swarming the windows. We were told an exterminator was coming to remove a bug infestation AFTER we checked in, so I felt like we were mislead. We we're able to take care of most of them, but it presented some safety concerns with the bees. Overall, everything was great, but if this was alleviated it would have been much better!

Though on the edge of the Hocking Hills, the main attractions were an easy and beautiful drive away. The cabin is well stocked for cooking. Response to a minor maintenance problem was quick. We enjoyed Curly's a lot.
