Nestled in Big Bear, this attractive house for $203 per night is a great option for your next break. Our mountain home is perfect for small families. It has newer appliances and flooring, nice leather furniture and custom kitchen with all the appliances in a modern decor. Clean and great for small families or couples to get away and relax. The house is located 1 mile to Big Bear Lake village and 2.5 miles to Snow Summit. -2 Bedroom home sleeps four-five people comfortably -Large deck with table and chairs -LCD TV with ROKU and a ton of movies - Wi-fi -Great location for hiking and exploring. -5 minute walk to the lake. -Less than 3 miles from Snow Summit and Bear Mountain -Washer and Dryer -Board games and puzzles -Lots and lots of quiet -House sits on 1/2 acre lot with lots of trees and privacy but not too far away from anywhere. -Has an awesome custom built swingset/fort with a slide -- great property for kids Everything is included: All linens (Towels, Sheets, etc.) The kitchen is fully stocked to cook a gourmet meal. Pots, Pans, dishes, silverware, serving dishes, Keurig and drip coffee makers, blender, toaster, microwave, full size refrigerator. This is a home away from home. It is complete. All you need is your food! It has a custom kitchen with travertine marble counters, bathroom with custom shower, washer and dryer. Forced air heating unit that warms and keeps the house at a comfortable temperature, leather couches and chairs, all appliances are newer and a wonderful deck off the back to sit around with a cup of hot chocolate on a cold night and look at the stars. Off the back porch there is an incredible sledding hill that is perfect for kids. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other bedroom has a double/single combination bunk bed. Ray was a very attentive host. He made it super easy to check in and made himself available for questions throughout our stay. The place was perfect for my family as it was my 6 year olds first snowy experience. Yard has a play area with play structure and a snowy hill perfect for novice sledding. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. We got tons of snow so the backdrop was magical. Ray also went above and beyond by providing recommendations to local restaurants and businesses. It was a wonderful experience!

It was very last minute and it still was a easy time getting this beautiful cabin the man I spoke to was easy going and had a good sense of humor the cabin is super kid friendly and we all in joyed our time away from home

It was winter storm when we stayed at ray’s wonderful home. Inside house was clean. Pans and utensils are nice. The owner was very easy to talk to. We did not get a chance to use most of the amenities outside as the snow accumulated to 5ft. It was wild. Board games kept us busy. Overall stay was good. Will come back again for sure.

To start the owner Ray was very good with communicating we us about all the ins and outs of everything. He was very nice and super helpful. The house was just perfect for our family. Very clean. And very comfortable. The location was also perfect. The house is right in the middle of everything around. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook. My kids loved playing in the yard and the sledding hill behind the house was so cool. We will definitely be returning. I would recommend this house to anyone! Thanks ray!

Every visit is different and great! We've stayed at Ray's cabin in summer, late winter and now around the holidays. Every time the cabin has been great and Ray is always extremely welcoming and helpful.
Ours kids are excited to go and run down to the bunk beds as soon as we arrive. The cabin has had snow even when the surrounding areas are bare and the sledding hill is great for young kids.
We are looking forward to another trip again soon. Maybe we'll try spring next time.

Ray is an amazing host. He called the day before to make sure that we had the lay of the land along with food and recreation recommendations. The cabin itself was warm and comfortable and had all of the amenities that one would need. The patio and gazebo were perfect for the stars and night and coffee with a view in the morning. The location was absolutely perfect. It was far enough outside of town to be totally secluded yet close enough to get to anything within minutes. We plan on staying again!

This house is a bilevel, so there were very few stairs to navigate. The main floor was spacious. Plenty of room for 4 people and daytime guests. Leather couch loveseat and recliner. Beautiful tv. Every board game you can remember from your childhood. The kitchen was roomy. Amenities included central heat, central air, dishwasher, clothes washer / dryer. The bedrooms were small, but I liked that too. Just enough room for what I needed.
Ray went out of his way to make sure I arrived safe and sound. He offered his services as a guide and told me where I could find what I might need. (grocery store / bike rental / trails / boating/ etc.)

We spent the most wonderful time in Big Bear. My husband, our 4 little furkids and myself.
Everything was perfect. The house is just like the pictures. Ray, owner and host gave me call before starting our vacation and he gave me all of the information about the house, our stay, what to expect, great restaurant recommendations, hiking trails, etc.
We felt at home. The patio was perfect for morning coffee with the furkids. We loved watching TV and catching up with a few shows and movies. Lots to choose from, dvds, roku TV, tons of fun games, puzzles, etc. We had a lot of fun at night.
George, the property manager was friendly and incredibly helpful, we enjoyed chatting with him. I had a blast with the swing set outside.
The house is close to the village and to the lake. Our dogs loved the walks and short drives to town.
Cozy, comfortable, very clean and well located little house. I kept trying to imagine this place in the winter with snow around, a beauty for sure.

4th of July getaway
This was our first trip to Big Bear and it didn't disappoint. The property is just far enough away from town to give you privacy but close enough to enjoy the many restaurants and activities with ease. Ray is great to work with very responsive owner.

Cute little house
This house was perfect for our little family. The playset was a huge plus for my kids. It was a good location out of the hustle and bustle but a short drive to get to the Village. We loved walking to country kitchen right down the road for breakfast each morning. The host was great and made sure we had everything we needed and if we had any questions! Would definatley stay again!

The house was just right for our family of four. Ray was incredible! We told him we would be arriving late at night so he made sure we’d arrive to a warm home. Kids loved it. We rented from Johnny’s Ski and Snowboard rental just around the corner so it was super easy to pick up and return our gear. House is in a great location.

What a great place this was. The house is very cute and this place is centered near lots of things to do.

We cooked everyday. The beds were comfortable and everything was fresh and clean. We didn't realize there was a BBQ on the patio so we will definitely be using it this summer. We can't wait to go back. This felt like home away from home

Lovely stay, had a wonderful time
This space is great for people wanting lots to do indoors after a long day outside. We watched movies, made hot chocolate, played board games. The location was great, just 10 minutes from the mountain and a really great area around the house. The main room does get very hot when the heater is turned on so we slept with the window open but the rest of the house feels great. Host was great, communicated all things clearly before our arrival and we were able to get in with ease. Definitely recommend!

It's just far enough from the main street to be extra quiet, but not so far that you won't go into town.
Plenty of amenities at the house that you could stay there the whole time and not be bored.

Great Host but Outdated Cabin
The host was super nice and made us feel comfortable and reassured us that we did not need to bring anything other than our food. When we got there it was beautiful since the cabin was covered in snow. Once we got inside the house we noticed that it was a bit outdated but thought nothing of it. As we were there a bit longer we encountered the following.
*Toilet bowl looked dirty (was stained)
*Shower head did not work
*My wife was taking a shower and rubbed out of hot water(she had to rinse herself with freezing cold water)
*The railing for the bunk bed was not secured
* Cooking utensils were burnt and old , knives were not sharp and old.
*Some of the inside of the kitchen cabinets were dirty.
*The fan on top of stove was dirty.
*The hooks for coats was not secure to the wall.
*All sleds were broken (1 worked out of 5)
*The gazebo looked like no one ever maintained it.
*the heater got extremely hot upstairs (was so uncomfortable) but would not warm up the downstairs area were the bedrooms were at.
* Overall this will be a great cabin for a vacation if they actually update and remodeled it. We booked for two nights and only ended up staying one night because we just didn’t feel comfortable. We couldn’t wait but to leave.

Our kids wanted to come back after visiting in the summer and see the cabin with snow. Even without a lot of snow this winter, there was enough snow left tucked away that we could enjoy some quiet snow play. Everything was very clean and as expected. Communication with Ray was top notch.
I'm sure we'll be back again.
