About this cottage rental
Located in Carmel by the Sea, this lovely cottage for $544 per night is a great choice for your next break. Love your stay in Carmel in our charming cottage located in the golden rectangle, with easy 7 block walks north into town or west down to the beach, and an easy 1.25 mile walk to the Carmel Gate onto Pebble Beach 17 mile drive (go west on 13th down to and left on San Antonio, cross Ocean and continue to the Carmel Gate and PB entrance). It has two comfortable bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. The front bedroom has a cal-king bed, with a bathroom and a stall shower. The back bedroom is a cal-king bed and the en suite bathroom has a shower tub. High thread count linens on the comfortable beds make for a wonderful nights sleep. The living room has a sitting/reading area with a skylight and large window overlooking the side patio. There is a wood burning fireplace, cable smart TV, free wifi, a game table, and comfortable seating. The kitchen has an eating area with table and chairs for 4. The eating area looks out on the back patio which has outdoor dining furniture and a propane fire pit. The cottage is 1200 square feet. There is a one car driveway and parking on the street which is not effected by the tourist traffic in downtown Carmel. Amenities include washer/dryer, gas stove, microwave, and fully stocked array of pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. Enjoy the back patio and yard with a propane fire pit. The cottage is close to the Carmel Mission (3 blocks south), and Clint Eastwood's Mission Ranch (2 blocks south) for cocktails and/or dinner overlooking the sheep pasture and the ocean beyond. It is 10-30 minutes to all the tourist destinations such as Big Sur, Rocky Point, Nepenthe, Carmel Valley wineries, golf courses (e.g. Pebble Beach, Spanish Bay, Poppy Hills, Black Horse, Bayonet, and Pacific Grove Muni), Monterey Bay Aquarium, Cannery Row, and the Monterey Wharf. We loved our stay at this cottage and wished we hadn't been working so many hours a day so we could have had a chance to enjoy the outdoor area a little! The bedrooms were comfortable, having two full bathrooms was a must for us and both were well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed and the living room was great for hanging out after a long day. The cottage is within walking distance of downtown Carmel and is a quick drive from Crossroads which has a ton of shops and restaurants

We had a perfect stay in Carmel. The house was a short walk to town and extremely well stocked with all kinds of supplies. We loved the charm of of the home…classic Carmel at its finest. The large backyard was delightful for eating outside or just reading a book. Great linens and towels for everyone. We didn’t hang out on the beach since we were there for the US Women’s Open but there were all kinds of beach supplies in the garage. I even had time to read one of the many books on their shelves. We were pleasantly surprised with the thoughtful welcome gifts. The owners were wonderful to communicate with by email & text. We can’t wait to return. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.

This cottage has everything you need for a week plus stay in Carmel. The cottage is perfect for a couple or 2 couples/singles traveling together. The owners have thought of many nice touches which make the home inviting. It is clean, well kept and the beds are comfortable. The location is close to town too.

This cottage is roomy and comfortable. The two master bedrooms are well-separated for privacy, and each has a good bathroom. It is just a 15 minutes walk to town or to the beach. The cottage has generous amenities including a well-equipped kitchen, lots of chars and toys for the beach, and very comfortable beds. The hosts communicated directly and we found everything in well-maintained working order. We have already booked another visit.

Cottage is beautiful and well appointed. The yard is nicely landscaped and well taken care of. It is less than a ten minute walk to all shops and restaurants. Our stay couldn't have been more enjoyable and we will are planning to return . The owners were very easy to work with and accommodated all our needs.

Charming for certain
This is a beautiful house, in an outstanding location, with wonderful hospitality. It was the perfect spot for my wife and her friend to spend a week relaxing and exploring the beautiful seascape of Monterey and vicinity. Carmel-by-the-sea was a lovely town. Much to do and see and wonderful dining. Dana and Sharon were very accommodating and the cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Thank you so much !

The location is also nice as the walk to ocean Blvd, the main street in Carmel is an easy 7 block walk. The propane fire pit in the back yard is an added bonus. I highly recommend this property and owners. We have booked 9 VRBO houses around the world and This one was a great find and the best VRBO rental we have booked .

Amazing cottage and even better location!
We had the best time spending the month of April at the house. We could not have been in a better location- just a couple blocks from both the ocean and town. The house was spacious and we enjoyed the fireplace, eating outdoors and grilling. Everything one could need was also available- beach towels, chairs, picnic basket etc. We really had the best time and can't wait to return!

Lovely Stay at "Kisses From Heaven" Cottage
LOVED my stay at this "Kisses From Heaven" cottage in Carmel. It was perfect for an extended stay where every comfort felt like home...except with the benefit of sunsets in an easily walkable 7 blocks to the beach at Scenic Drive. Carmel-By-The-Sea shops, wine tasting rooms, and the market are all in walkable distance which made for a very nice stay with very little time in the car. The Carmel Mission Basilica and Mission Ranch are just a few blocks away. Every thoughtful detail (including welcome gift) in this house was appreciated - including beach towels and chairs perfect with February weather that allowed for a few days at the beach. The side entrance makes the house very private, and the backyard with beautiful landscaping and a nice firepit are perfect for time outside with a good book, cup of tea, or glass of wine. High ceilings, wood-burning fireplace, desk, large screen TV (with Netflix and Prime), and game table in the family room all lent themselves to time spent writing, reading, and relaxing with great conversation or a movie. King beds were comfortable with all bed and bath linens new and of great quality. Owners were 100% responsive from the moment my reservation was booked. Will definitely hope to return to this Carmel cottage again!

Ideal cottage
We really enjoyed this house it’s a very comfortable and nicely furnished two bedroom house with off-street parking and a private, well equipped backyard. The kitchen has spices, cooking oil, condiments, salad dressing, coffee filters, etc. I’ve rented homes before where there is only salt and pepper.
It’s a pleasant seven block stroll to the center of Ocean Avenue.
I can’t say enough about how pleasant a place it is for a week’s stay.

What an amazing week!! Could not be happier with this adorable little cottage. Location was amazing, and convenient to everything.. we could actually hear the sea lions barking in the morning.
I would definitely recommend this cottage. The owners were so easy to work with and accommodating.

Exceptional vacation stay
This was our first VRBO booking, and the home was everything it claimed to be, with the little extra touches by the host making it really special. We felt like we were guests visiting a friend's home that had just been completely remodeled in the interior. Further, the location was perfect to walk to Ocean Ave or the Scenic Drive beach.
