This place was fabulous for location. Communication with Hosteeva was great. I walked everywhere! I was staying for a conference and the conference center was walkable, as was the French quarter and Superdome. What was disappointing was the comfort of the room. The blinds were destroyed and couldn't be lowered and the shower curtain rod was hanging on by a screw. The couch was so uncomfortable that it was useless to sit on. The bed also was terribly uncomfortable. I had such high hopes for this property, but it did not live up to its potential.

The building was close to bourbon street, and close to many attractions. We walked everywhere. The room was spacious and clean, with great views. The game room and roof deck are great amenities also. Overall a great experience!

Great location and apartment
I really enjoyed my stay in this unit. The only thing I would mention is that this unit is not managed by is not a sole owner, but rather a by a rental management company. They were quick and responsive and I didn't have any issues, but the apartment didn't feel very homey and was generic. I would recommend because it was clean, nice, and very conveniently located. I just wish I knew it was an individual person. I also had some slight issues confirming my reservation because they require you to send pictures of your license and your face. The links to do so were usually expired so I ended up having to call.

Great location
Excellent location, easy 10 min walk to Jackson Square. Ruby Slipper right across the street for the best brunch. Very nice apartment, nice kitchen, comfortable bed. Secure entrance.
Metro feel, kind of sterile, not really cozy place to hangout, but we were gone most of the time anyway.
The walls are not soundproof though, could hear the neighbors music clearly in the bathroom and bedroom, as well as some hallway and outside noise.
Overall a nice place to stay in a nice area, kind of like a big hotel room.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. The location was incredible and the check in process was seamless!

This location was perfect, and we enjoyed our stay. There are a few minor things that could be done to improve the property - look into better soundproofing/dampening for the Waste Management facility across the street (perhaps some thick curtains would help a bit), and provide some more comfortable pillows.

Love the location
My boyfriend and I loved the location. All we really did was walk. There was no need to lyft anywhere. We were close to the street car as well which will take you to city park and the art museum. The Ruby Slipper was right outside the front door. They have a good breakfast. Frenchman street was just about a 25 minute walk for us. Bourbon street was a 10 minute walk. I suggest going to Napoleon House. Their muffaletta was delicious.

This property was perfectly located for walking everywhere we wanted to go. We never had to use our car which was important to us. Our primary reason for the trip was to visit the National World War II Museum which was less than a mile from the property. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from a short walk away.

The good part of this review is that it wouldn’t take much effort or expense for ML to be 4+ stars. In its current state however, it is not a place I will be returning. At first glance, it has a good location to break from the French quarter and warehouse district and looks chic in photos. Unfortunately, as soon as you sit down on the cheap couch or prop your head upon the thin, worn pillows, you realize it’s not comfortable AT ALL. This place comes up very short on the details. After booking on Vrbo, we received a message that all functions of our reservation would be through a service called Hosteeva. Despite our email address being registered in their system, no amount of password resets allowed us to actually access the service either through the app or online. No matter, we got by with email messages, but it did make me a little nervous about whether or not my reservation was intact. To access the property, hopefully, you are good with remembering numbers. There’s a four-digit code to open the building door and six for your own room’s lock (you’ll need both hands to open that lock, so hopefully you’re not carrying a beverage). Upon entering the room (about 30 mins before check-in which was nice) our room 204 smelled like it had just been through the car wash and coated with a massive dose of air freshener. It has a large inoperable window (I wanted to air-out the place) with non-functioning blinds that stares at a loading dock. The vinyl trundle style couch looks at a large smart TV (bring your own subscriptions—no apparent cable/antenna). A street vendor has set up a loud PA system blasting jazz music which sounds like it’s IN the apartment. You can turn on the HVAC system’s fan to help dull the noise and cool the room. But don’t set the thermostat below the dew point of the humid air (ca. 72-74°) or your sheets and all of your clothes sitting on the tables and countertops (because there are no dressers) will get damp with moisture. The bedroom is very tight and the mattress springy. Unless your partner is a stone, you will feel every move they make during the night. We requested new pillows after night one, but were only told the message was relayed to the property manager, not actually brought replacements. The bathroom is stocked with good towels, but not enough variety—3 body towels, 1 hand towel, 1 wash cloth, no bath mat on the glazed (slippery) tile. The kitchen seems functional.

The best part about this place is the location. So close to Canal, Bourbon St and Harrahs. It was by far a better price than any hotel nearby. The bed was a bit firm but that's preference on my part. It has a full sized fridge which is great to store your food or beverages. It's in the heart of nola so if you are wanting peace and quiet, without any outside noise then it may not be an ideal place to stay. But for my trip, it served a purpose of being stumbling diatance to all my friend's wedding festivities. Would consider staying again if I went back to nola.
