About this house rental
This is more than just a cozy home at the coast; it is a place full of memories that will last the family a lifetime. This is our family home, with all of us having memories of coming to Morro Bay to visit this house for over fifty years. The original owner passed the property down to their children and is now owned by children and grandchildren of the ones who built this home. We love the memories that reside in this house, and would love to have you as a guest of the family at our home away from home! Our home has a nice view of Morro Rock from the kitchen, living room, and balcony that runs along the front of the house. Find a comfortable place to enjoy your morning coffee and the fresh coastal air. Beach access is less than a mile away! Our home has newer furniture, decorations, and amenities to create a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for our guests. Kick back and enjoy your vacation at the coast! House sleeps from 6 to 10 people. Driveway parking available for three cars. Our home is a non-smoking no pet rental.

Our stay was nice, big enough for us to hang out in the living room with our kids. I wished the down stairs was connected to the upstairs from inside. The down stairs had a musty odor, but our teenage boys did not complain.

We enjoyed the stay in Morro Bay. Home was clean and WiFi was strong. This is a three bedroom property but they are connected by external stairs.

If you like big iconic rocks coming through the window of your cozy vacation home, then this place if for you! Very well kept house that reminds you of being back at nana and papa’s house (except this house has cable and internet). Lovely spot to enjoy a weekend away!

Chavez Family Birthday Beach Trip
I booked the property in Morro Bay to celebrate my granddaughters 21st birthday and my 70th birthday. We love the beach and vacation every year at one of the Morro hotels. To accommodate all of us and to save money I looked for a home instead of a hotel. This property was built in the 60’s and has a homey feel to it. I loved the kitchen/living room area and the closeness to the beach and restaurants. We were able to enjoy breakfast in a casual setting, see the Rock from the windows and the youngsters enjoyed playing board games in the living room. It was a nice, quiet neighborhood and we felt safe. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the convenience of the laundry room was great. Sitting on the balcony watching the sunset was amazing. Everyone agrees that it was the best beach trip ever.

Family Tradition
We enjoyed our stay at this perfect location just blocks away from our daughter’s house.
We’ve been celebrating Independence Day on the central coast since I was a child, now on our 4th generation of tradition!
The kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable, great TV choices and Olan was delightful, attentive and quick to respond.
We will certainly come again!!

The property was perfect for us. We brought together family traveling from out of state via plane, train, and automobile. The owners were very helpful and allowed us an early check that was helpful as everyone arrived . The house felt home like and was very clean. Overall great experience it would have been nice to have extra trash bags , and some storage bags. The drain in the downstairs shower is loose and needs to be fixed.

This home was perfect for our family time to come together to celebrate the life of a family member. The instructions were very descriptive which made check in very easy. The home had everything our family needed. Even enjoyed the sounds of a Friday night high school football game.

Clean and comfy for sure! A little dated but it gave it character! American flag was missing though. Great view and quiet neighborhood. The bedroom downstairs with 3 beds and a bath is separate from the home. You have to go outside to come in main house. It worked well for us with adult kids staying down there.

The home itself was plenty big enough for all of us. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs, and one downstairs. The downstairs bedroom has its own bathroom, and that's where the laundry room is located as well. There is also a small refrigerator should you want to keep a few drinks down there.
The main area upstairs includes a full kitchen, a spacious living room area, a full bathroom, and 2 bedrooms. Everything in the kitchen works perfectly. If you want to BBQ, there is one available as well.
All in all, this is a great place to stay, and I look forward to booking again soon!

Place is as pictured. 2 bedrooms have multiple beds, one bedroom has one. All good sized rooms. Front room is set up with couches and chairs to seat 7 comfortable. You can use table chairs or folding chairs provided to seat more. Great view of the rock out the main window. Owners we very nice and responded to all messages with good information. Only gripe is that with covid we did a lot of cooking in the place and there is no dish washer. That being said, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment.
