Top, top, top ! Great reception (even though we arrived with the late ferry), great hospitality, friendliness and very good touristic advice (before arrival as well as at the B&B itself). Thank you very much, Rod and Gloria !

The beds and linens were exceptional. Breakfast was phenomenal with a huge selection. Fresh melt in your mouth croissants every morning was such a nice unexpected extra. Only a 15-minute drive to Stornoway. Enjoyed a nice relaxing evening in the lounge with a glass of wine from the honesty bar.
The room and amenities were fantastic. However, the water pressure in the shower was quite weak. We did not speak to the host about this small issue, so it could possibly have been resolved.
Rod has a meet and great with his guests, which he provides great information. Some may just prefer the information included in his informative information guide in their room.

Very good accommodation with comfortable room having a good view of countryside and coast. Had dinner once which was very good and breakfasts were very good. A good greeting by Rod who gave us lots of details about the area, the videos were especially useful. Honesty bar was good with reasonable prices.

Excellent breakfast, also a dinner menu. A splendid stay to explore Lewis and Harris on the outer Hebrides. Some wonderful beaches nearby.

Lovely B&B in the country-side with rural views and a caring, attentive host. The room was comfortable and well-equipped and the breakfasts were freshly-cooked and delicious. The WIFI was very good and there was off-street parking. A comfortable and well-run B&B that was always good to come home to.
The B&B is a bit further from town than we were expecting, which meant a 17 mile round trip to get a meal at night. The property is out in the country-side and our satnav claimed we had arrived before we actually had, but don't give up and keep going and the B&B is well-signed and will appear.

Really excellent breakfasts -- well cooked and served. A very good start to the day
We had problems finding the property, probably due to our satnav not working properly, but eventually had excellent help from the local pharmacist, who got in his car and led the way!
The weather wasn't great and limited what we could do , especially at the road to nowhere--- we tried to walk to the bridge but had to give up!

This was exceptionally high standard accomodation for B&B. Lovely large room with view over the bay. Great welcome from Rod with tea, cake and a wee dram and lots of local info. Gloria's cooking is amazing, we had booked only one evening meal and it was well worth it. The location just a few miles from Stornoway was perfect for our 2 day stay on Lewis before travelling down to Harris. Can't recommend highly enough!
