Vacasa would not allow us to upgrade our room. The website was misleading on the accommodations. Very disappointed!!

All of the access to pools, beach chairs, covered parking. And the room was so clean and smelled so good when we arrived.
Hall bathroom shower door would not shut.

Loved our first trip to stay at the Splash resort, just watching the Sunset from our balcony was wort it all. Lord willing we'll be back.
The only thing is I went to see what the grill had and it was closed? Bit no biggie...

Good location
Started with check-in getting parking passes- lady at desk was rude / acted as if we were bothering her with our questions / rood floors were DIRTY. Could not walk around barefooted - feet were black - not kidding - they need a GOOD cleaning / one elevator in West tower down whole trip - o e elevator for 21 floors ridiculous - I reported it down so the facility WAS aware. Wait times were 20 to 30 minutes if you were on ground floor during busy times. And second elevator started acting up last day where it would skip coming to ground floor. RIDICULOUS that nothing was done to fix issue for three days. Will not be staying at this location again. NOT impressed at all

Location was on the beach. Thankfully the beach is beautiful. I really enjoyed the idea of what I had rented compared to the other vacation rentals we stay in, but the arrival changed all of that. Most higher priced properties provide a reasonable "starter kit" for your arrival. You know, enough to do a few loads of laundry, wash some dishes, everyone to have enough supplies to take a shower, but NO, not this VACASSA property! 5 people, 4 days, and one trash bag on site (the little details you would expect to be there, were not). I made arrangements to have groceries delivered for our stay prior to arrival, so I could spend time with my family. Instead, I was taking time away from them to go make additional arrangements for the lack of preparedness of this Vacation rental. Albeit, I was not going to buy more patio furniture to replace all of their broken stuff.
We did not even get the room that we reserved through Booking!! The photos were of a different property all together! I loved it when they came to the room to get any of the 3 TV's to work, so we could watcha game in the room while having lunch after our morning at the beach! ZERO out of 3 were operational on arrival. Top dollar fees and ALMOST NOTHING provided to get you started for your 4 day stay, There was a single dish machine detergent pack, a laundry detergent pod and a single trash bag. The towels were the texture of what you would imagine would be in a prison, the nice exfoliating kind that leave scratches when you dry off. Bedroom carpet was sandy and much of the furnishings broken and in disrepair, my 10 year old daughter has bruises on her legs from the patio chair seat bottom falling through. Driving directions were not correct so, after an 8 hour drive with 3 kids, we waited over an hour outside at 11PM, to find out the parking garage was across the street, behind a neighboring business. I also found it quite annoying that when you tried to dry the 1 per person provided towels between showers, the dryer sounded like a screaming animal dying, and it too was not repaired during our stay.

The room was dirty upon arrival the table was sticky with old food stuck to it, there was wads of hair behind the tree in the master bath, there was dirt all over the floors, it just wasn't clean, the beds were stiff,

The room was very clean and comfortable.
We could not use one of the showers in the room. Apparently it was leaking into the downstairs room.

Loved the fact that it was an ocean front view. Room was clean and spacious (after we had to change rooms).
Had to change rooms after the first night. The bed frame broke in the first room within 2 minutes of laying on it. Mind you my wife and I are not large people. Had to end up sleeping on recliners.

We absolutely loved being on the beach and the amenities for the children.
Pool and hot tub water cleanliness. Bar/food options and availability/ longer hours.

The location was great being right on the beach. Our children, ages 7 and 5, really enjoyed the lazy River and heated pool.
The elevators always had long lines. The beds were uncomfortable and very noisy when simply turning over. We requested fresh towels and more toilet paper from the front desk and were told we needed to contact Vacasa instead, so we did that and never received the order. This is also the first resort we’ve ever stayed at that does not provide pool/beach towels to guests. We specifically chose Splash Resort over the various other local options due to it having a water park, however unfortunately our children could not bare the freezing cold water temperatures plus it being in full shade.

It was spacious and comfortable.
The master bathroom tub drained really slow. The hot water handle in the second bathroom tub didn't work properly. The washing machine was broke they did send someone out to fix it but it took 3 different people before it was fixed.
