A circular, level driveway to easily accommodate up to five vehicles, as opposed to the many steep driveways in the area that can barely accommodate 2 vehicles. Excellent location, just 3 miles from downtown Gatlinburg, 4 miles from Ober Gatlinburg and 9 miles from Dollywood. Knocking on Heaven's Door has all the amenities you desire. The cabin comfortably sleeps 10, with four fully furnished bedrooms. All 4 bedrooms have 43" Roku smart TV's. Knocking on Heaven's Door has 3 spacious decks to enjoy the peaceful mountain views and maybe have a glimpse of the deer, bears, turkeys and other animals from the nearby Smoky Mountain National Park. Guests also have access to 3 community club houses in Chalet Village that offer swimming pools, tennis courts, workout room, bathroom and changing facilities, indoor game rooms, snack and drink machines and ample free parking. The Gatlinburg Trolley Station with parking is down the road and available for car-free shopping, dining, and entertainment in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It also goes into the park for hiking on a paved trail to Laurel Falls and to the Visitor Center. If you like to explore on foot, the park offers everything from short nature trails to longer back country hikes. The park is filled with trails, waterfalls and an abundance of wildlife. Horseback riding and trout fishing are also favorite outdoor activities in the Smoky Mountains. The main level has a wall of windows and deck rockers to take in the views. Kitchen, dining, living room with wood burning fireplace and king master bedroom are also located on the main level. The spacious kitchen is stocked with everything you would expect in a normal kitchen, including blender, toaster, slow cooker, various size pots & pans, wine glasses, a Keurig, and a regular coffee pot. Upstairs consists of 2 king bedrooms with and bathroom with a tub/shower. Access to the top deck thru the catwalk for additional rockers to enjoy the awesome views.
