Perfect location, very clean!!

It was our first time in Amsterdam, the hotel was so central and near everything.

Great location!

9th floor was very dirty, carpet in our room was noticeably dirty. There was not enough surface to keep 2 suitcases off the floor- no suitcase stand was in room, had to use bedside table and put phone etc on edge of bed.

Although the hotel is near Amsterdam Centraal Station, the room was quite silent and peaceful. The breakfast was delicious (variety of tea options, coffee, juice, bread, jam, cheese, eggs, fruit, yoghurt…). The hotel is very close to the city centre and main attractions.

The most terrible hotel in my life, I understood that it was at the railway station, but did not know that the railway and platforms pass through the buildings. the view from the window is terrible. You sleep on the roof of the carriage and the whole night announce boarding and whistle. The room is small and the window does not open. Smelly air drives the air conditioning system. The cleaning is excellent, the bed is clean, the towels smell damp, there is no ventilation system in the bathroom. On 26.08 in the morning we got up on an excursion and there was a smell of smoke, there was either a fire or a short circuit in the hotel, the alarm system did not work, no one woke us up, the locks on the doors to the stairs were under power supply,had to figure out what to open with a number card, there was a fire department, police on the street, people were being evacuated. You can burn yourself alive in this hotel.

Convenient to the train station city centre

The windows couldn't be opened even a little bit and it didn't have a small fridge which would have been great to store medicine's in and other cold items

Most of the staff were really helpful, particularly Donjay. There was one member of staff that I found quite dismissive, but on the whole we had a good experience. The hotel is right next to a boat tour company called lovers, and within easy access to everything. The beds are really comfortable and huge.

The room was a little small, with only one small bin in the bathroom, and the shower floor quite slippery.

For the price would have expected tea and coffee in the room. Asked to pay 50 cents for a paper cup, not provided that day by house keeping, arrogant member of staff. Having booked for a week would have hoped for a larger room, very tight accommodation

Room was very small for the price we paid shower room was even smaller could not move to dry or use the toilet had to make my own bed on the first night on arrival

the staff were so friendly. We had a room with a view of the river and it was a great size and stunning view

there was a glitch with the booking.com website where they took money, so we had to spend a while callling for refund. But the staff were extremely helpful and pointed us in the write direction with how to sort the issue

It was very near to the station.

The staffs could be more helpful. We encountered the storm, and we would like to borrow the phone to change our reservations as all the transport was suspended, but they didn’t provide any help. Besides, though just a little bit inconvenient, the hotel’s 6th to 9th floor were located in another building, so we have to change the elevator every time.

The location, right next to the train station, was perfect for an early train the next day. The hotel was clean and modern, albeit in the usual IBIS spartan style. The lobby/bar area looked nice though. Staff super friendly
