Superb
We had a great stay. This place is magical and in the heart of Tuscany with so many beautiful views. The family who owns the place were super friendly and made lots of recommendations to us. Wish we could have stayed longer.

3 night stay in Tuscany sampling wine!!
Quiet, lovely pool, amazing views that never get old….and the owners. We had 3 nights here and we can’t wait to come back, we had such a lovely, piece-full time, and I’m gonna miss my chats with Anthony.
Nothing really, it’s just perfect!

It’s just a little piece of heaven - A Tuscan dream!
Villa La Cappella embodies magic, comfort, peace and happiness. The grounds are beyond gorgeous, the staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The food is unbelievable - Chef Giovanna takes everything to another level and cooks with love. The location is brilliant to visit things in the Region such as Florence, Pisa and Siena. This was the hardest place to leave and we already miss it very much. It was an experience that we will never forget and we’ve left a little piece of our heart there.

Exceptional
We loved the place. The roms are big and you find everything you need in them. The family that owns the place is friendly, helpful and so pleasant to have around. The pool is very clean and the view is amazing. The breakfast is fresh made and the dinner menu is also good and traditional. We highly recommend it.

The views make it worth it already. But the food and expertise of staff take the experience over the top.
The views are stunning! The staff was beyond friendly and knowledgeable. I look forward to future visits.
Zero to dislike really. If I had one complaint it’s that drivers go way too fast outside the gates, but that isn’t the fault of ownership.

Restorative and relaxing with kind and friendly hosts
I can’t tell you how wonderful a time I had here. it was so restorative. I had great relaxation and got a lot of creative writing done. Everyone was so incredibly friendly and kind. It was a beautiful location and the accommodations were wonderful (and also beautiful). The food was INCREDIBLE! I will definitely be coming back here again. Thank you for everything.

Great Place, great people, nice stay, would come again
Before we go into detail, the "Villa" is not a "Villa", it's a "Mansion"! This is important to remember, when reading this review! When we booked "la Capella" we did not know what to expect, although the description and review appeared to promise a nice stay! We ended up staying in a 800 years old mansion, with rooms big enough that someone else may build his own house into that room. Everything has class and style of a manor house! Wandering and wondering through the building is great! The proprietors, who just have taken over the property recently are extremely helpful and friendly people. It's not staying at a hotel, it's staying with friends! Now to the basics: Rooms are great (as mentioned) and very clean, beds are a bit on the hard side (which I liked, my wife didn't - well....), breakfast is really good. They have a nice pool, which they transformed into some kind of "infinity-pool", but time of the year prevented us from trying. Location is good. There are many places for visiting and quite some good restaurants in close vicinity! Summing up: Paula, Anthony and staff are great hosts. The building is great (if you're not into fancy new developments) rooms have class, breakfast supplies all you need, and finally location is really good. One word about location: the Villa is close to Montespertoli. Go there! It's not too touristic, but has some good restaurants and is a nice town!
Well, there's not really something we didn't like. All's quite perfect. Remember, the Mansion is about 800 years old, hence some things are not the latest fashion! There's no "walk in shower", but a rather "climb over bathtub". Did I mention 800 years! Wifi may not be perfect in all areas (800 years & thick walls....). Finally, the question I ask myself: Would I come again? Yes definitely. Actually already planning! This is a great place with great people!

It was a lovely stay and we enjoyed the experience. The villa feels more like a home.
The owners, Paula and her daughter Marissa, run the place like their home. They were the most gracious hosts. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean with all amenities, and very comfortable. The attached and fully equipped sitting/dining/kitchenette area was a bonus. The villa felt like home. It's a lovely place to chill out and relax. And yes, they have an elevator! so you don't have to drag your bags up the stairs :) There are no restaurants close by, the nearest is a 30-45 minute walk. (A beautiful scenic walk, if you like). Hence having transport is necessary to take you around. On the day we arrived, Paula & Marissa very kindly offered to make us pasta or sandwiches for lunch. You could cook up a meal for yourself if you like, since you have to make arrangements for your lunch and dinner - the attached kitchenette to your room has an oven, microwave, refrigerator, pots and pans, crockery/cutlery, you just need to get your ingredients. The breakfast was excellent, a good spread, with something different every day. While the location and area are lovely, and the property is beautiful, you must have arrangements for transport if you have to go anywhere. Paula connected us with a transport company that was very efficient. If you go to the town, it's a lovely and scenic 30-45 minute walk, safe during the day but not recommended at night as you have to watch out for speeding cars, although they are few and far between. Marissa very kindly volunteered to pick us up at night from town because it's difficult to get a taxi. The town has some nice cafes and restaurants, there was a festival on while we were there, so we had a great time. Morning walks are beautiful.
