first off Vincent and his son were amazing, so helpful. location perfect location everything is right outside your door from great places to eat and sights that you will want to see. the room was spacious, decorated in renaissance style with vaulted ceilings. really made our visit enjoyable. this is city center where you want to be. The location is amazing! Very close to all the historical places. The apartament was confortable, and clean , the kitchen is good, with the essential. Vicent is friendly and helpfull!

A Florence apartment with perfect location

Dante States has the best location as it's in the heart of the city of Florence, 5 mins to Ponte Vecchio, 2 mins to Uffizi gallery, great trattorias & eateries all close by. Small supermarkets within walking distance too. A very authentic Italian apartment stay. Loved the furnishings! It was a perfect calm oasis after busy days exploring Florence!

Great base from which to experience Florence 24/7.

Very nice stylishly decorated studio, conveniently located in the very heart of Florence. Very responsive and helpful host. There was very little noise despite the central location. Walking distance to central train station (18-20 min).

Perfect central location and very warm hospitality

Central location and unique antique style of the apartment

It was a bit noisy during a day if the windows are open but the noise would reduce significantly if the windows are closed due to being double-glazed

Great apartment for some old world Florentine charm, and walking distance from all sights

Vincent was easy to communicate with, and was very friendly, and gave us great recommendations about what to do around town. The apartment is very pretty, and close to everything!

Our host was personable and made sure he was there as we arrived. He gave us keys and some good tips for visiting Florence. The room was beautiful. Excellent location. Everything worked.

Absolutely everything was perfect! The warm welcome and all the information on restaurants, cafés old and new, galleries and museums from Vincent. The beautiful apartment kept lovingly in touch with its era with beautiful paintings, furniture etc The location was perfect. We cannot say enough, truly a fantastic stay. Thank you so much, we will be back!

Beautiful apartment

The location is ideal, very central in Firenze with many great restaurants nearby. Vincent, the host, was super nice, very welcoming and gave us some great tips to go around Firenze. As for the appartment, it is beautiful, not your usual appartement, very typical. The paintings on the ceiling and else are really beautiful. It was very clean and welcoming. I would really recommend.

2 minor points : 1/ It is quite noisy especially if you are a light sleeper: the gas boiler goes on at 5-6am and is very noisy (probably more an issue in winter with heating and less in summer) + the appartment is located above an outside bar with music (noisy until early in the morning) 2/ The cleaning crew entered the appartment at 10am whilst we were still sleeping and had agreed to leave at 12am.

Location and property were amazing. Host was super hospitable.

Nothing - only thing to note is a large flight of stairs for anyone with heavy luggage. Totally manageable.

Excellent apartment, centrally located

This is the 4th time we have stayed at Dante States Apartments, which is a tribute in itself. The location is central, unbeatable in fact, The apartment we had this time had a separate bedroom which was a plus. It was well equipped, pleasantly decorated and comfortable. The host was welcoming and helpful, as ever.

won’t recommend unless you want to be in construction or party with others all night

location was perfect next to Uffizi palace. go to Roberto’s for dinner 10+ family owned. stairs are awfull. LLC

construction right out our window 6 am to 5 pm. partying 8 pm to 4am fight outside our window, no air conditioning tried leaving dingoes open but had to close due to very sever yelling and shouting all night. don’t stay in Donatello one bedroom. said would carry bags. no!

Lovely, clean apartment with attractive decor and nice antique pieces in an absolutely central location. I could work online and felt completely at home.

If you like complete peace and quiet, this is not the right location for you.

Excellent location, wonderful large room. A quiet haven in the busy centre of Florence.

No air condition in the bedroom. We stayed in a 4 person room with extra beds in the living room and a double bed in a separate bedroom. The living room had air conditioning, the bedroom only a fan.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Florence; consider the sleep factors noted

Beautifully furnished Florentine apartment in an excellent location to explore Florence on foot. Despite being outside an extremely busy street of restaurants, the soundproofing is excellent and you can't hear a thing. Vincent was an excellent host who spent time to point out attractions and restaurants.

The 2 reasons for our score of 8 is due to the air conditioning only being present in the living room where the sofa bed was meaning that the main bedroom was extremely hot and the fan in the main bedroom did not make things any cooler so it was not the most comfortable of sleeps. We understand that installing efficient air conditioning in a building of this age is always going to be tricky and I imagine this would only be a problem during the very hottest weeks/months in Florence. The second reason was the comfiness of the sofa bed. This also led to a bit of disrupted sleep for whoever was on it. If we were to stay in Florence again (outside of peak summer) then we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
