Nice apartment, at a wonderful location

The cottage is really lovely and the mountain view in front of the house is amazing. We arrived late at night but the process of checking in was easy. We are group of family (6 people) and there are 2 bedrooms and 1 sofa bed which is suitable for us. The bedsheet in under the sofa bed (at first we cannot find it but it is kept tidily). There are also 1 bathroom, kitchen, dining area and area in front of the house that we can sit to see the beautiful view with fresh air outside. The host is kind and supportive.
The bathroom door and bedroom door is a bit difficult to close and open.

The folks there are all very nice. and the location was good for us a the south coast was lacking in available accommodation.
Cottages are tread bare and tired. Need some TLC. Breakfast was minimal for the price.

Expected breakfast, as it was advertised on flyer left on our cabin table. Breakfast ended up getting canceled, but we didn’t know until we walked over and it wasn’t open.

We stayed at multiple locations during our Iceland trip. These were the cutest cottages of all. It felt like we were in the middle of no-where, just nature all around , yet the place was easily accessible from the main road. Do not miss visiting the beautiful waterfall right behind these cottages. It was very windy during our stay , so we couldn't walk around, but the location was beautiful. Cottages were small, yet comfy. Small kitchenette had a few dishes and a sink which is very handy to have. The small space was organized and arranged keeping our comfort in mind. We had breakfast here, it would have been quite basic if not for the freshly made fried eggs and bacon. Then again keep in mind that we are in Iceland , not in any all-inclusive resort. Nothing is wasted , only what we need is provided ( I wish the rest of the world followed this norm !)

That was one of my favourite accommodations I've stayed at in Iceland! Such a stunning location! I'd stay there for a few weeks just relaxing and starring at those mountains and the ocean. We had incredible views and deers right in front of our cottage! Also the girl at reception has let us stay a bit longer because of the road closure when we got stuck for 4 hours. That was really nice! I can't describe how beautiful the place was. I'd stay there again.
The bathroom didn't have a lock and when there was a gale, the toilet door was opening on it's own, which was a bit awkward :))) Also took me a while to figure out how to connect the wifi, as you have to wait until it will come up in the list. Nobody replied to me when I messaged about that problem. But apart from that everything was absolutely perfect! :)

The front door window had the curtains broken and not in place. It kind of reduced the privacy during the stay.

My wife and I slept here one night on our way through Iceland. We really liked the cottage. Exact instructions on how to get to the cottage, equipment, heat, hot shower, beautiful views. Everything was great, we are sorry that we arrived at midnight and left in the morning. Maybe we'll come back here again.
We could not find a wifi network.

Whole cottage was very nice. Amazing place was a bonus. Quiet. We also liked the view from our bedroom.
Check-in was little confusing. I did not received some information about it. Nobody was responding to my email, message. I had to call the owner directly.

The cottage is settled in the beautiful surrounding of the Eastfjords of Iceland. Loved the area and the view. We enjoyed our stay in the middle of nowhere in this cozy cabin.
The cottage was not too warm and also the bathroom could be cleaned better. The place itself is really nice and cozy just needs some small adjustments. :) Would be ideal to have a hot tube on the deck. :)

What a beautiful place! Big and cozy cabin with fantastic views! Perfect to watch the northern lights!
Confortable beds, nice shower, big leaving room. Kitchen has everything necessary to prepare meals.

the pan is not well cleaned, sink not working well, heater not on before arrival.

The cottage is comfortable with great view of the mountain. The kitchen is well equipped. helpful staff.
The wifi was broken when we were there and there was no wifi to use. As we arrive at night and it was dark, it took us a while to find the cottage as the light of the signage by the road was broken.

The location was perfect and easy to get to. The cabin was nice and clean and beds were comfortable. It was very well equipped.
The cabin we were supposed to be in was occupied and they assigned us another cabin but did not send us a message saying so. Luckily we saw someone working outside and he checked into it for us but this could have been a real problem if we would have arrived later in the evening.

Lodge was very spacious. There were enough equipment in the kitchen to prepare meals. The view of the lodge was perfect. Even though we weren't lucky enough to see any northern lights, it would be magnificent to watch them from here. There are many large windows and you can enjoy the northern lights without leaving your place.
There was a free wifi but it was almost impossible to connect since the signal was weak.

Cozy spot nestled into the mountains. All wood paneling gave it a warm feeling.
We were two couples, and one of the rooms had bunk beds, which wasn’t preferred for two adults. They also didn’t notify us that the reception would be closed, and that our cottage was just unlocked.

This property showed considerably more age and wear than the photo on your site represented.

It's okay if you're staying for one night on your way to the north. Beautifully located on the ringroad.
The cottage needs maintenance. The windows are falling apart, wifi is not working, you can't close the curtains, the shower is falling apart, the host is absent for questions, the restaurant is closed, the hot plate is burning the fuses, the towels are not clean.
