Pauline and Chris were excellent hosts. A warm welcome, tea and cake served on the terrace when we arrived. They couldn’t have been more helpful or welcoming. Had a few restaurant recommendations for dinner, which was helpful. We had a room-only rate but Pauline kindly put out cereals and coffee for us, as we had an early start the following morning. We had a large, comfortable room with everything we needed. Extremely comfortable bed. Brookvale is set in beautiful grounds where you could while away a few hours happily with a book. The property is convenient for Wexford, Copper Coast, Rosslare port. We couldn’t fault it in any way and it was excellent value for money.
Nothing.

Easy to find. VERY hospitable. VERY comfortable. We had to leave too early for breakfast, in order to catch an early ferry, but the tea was excellent. We will stay there again
Nothing could be better !

A State of the Art B&B!
A proper example of hospitality at a professional level, but still with that all so important personal touch.
At our arrival we were shown our two separate rooms, private bathroom and a breakfast room for our use only. Because the weather was fine, we were invited into the garden to have coffee, tea and lovely home baked carrot cake.
Pauline (and husband Chris) showed great interest in are holiday plans.
At arrival rooms and bathroom, bed and bedlinnen, toilet and bathroom were all impeccably clean and we were very much impressed by the very authentic and striking way that Pauline had decorated the whole place.
Not to speak about the breakfast table which was beautifully laid out with a wide variety of fruit, bread, yoghurts, jams, cheese and ham. The breakfast menu showed a beautiful choice of items e.g. full Irish breakfast, serials and porridge.
All for a very reasonable € 12,50 pp (July 2023)
We had a lovely two night stay at Brookvale.
Great compliments to Pauline for managing this place so well and with so much commitment, beside her busy and responsible job in Eniscourty.
Highly recommended.

No breakfast but Pauline left milk, cereal, butter, chocolate and homemade cake each day 😋😍
The rain, but that was no fault of Pauline's 😅

This is the best bed and breakfast experience I have ever had after 50 plus years of visiting Ireland. Pauline is the perfect hostess. A warm and friendly person who welcomed me and my dog with accommodation second to none. A luxurious bedroom with a fantastic hospitality tray to last a week! Beautiful bed linen, so cosy.
The private bathroom was sumptuous. A sunken bath, beautiful big shower and L' Occitaine products, Huge space.
Breakfast choices are vast and my full Irish was delicious with top quality products- set me up for the day!
LOCATION
I needed accommodation near Rosslare ferry terminal and Brookdale was perfect. A straightforward half hour drive and you are there. Greeted with cake and a hot drink in a cosy lounge and wood burner.
VALUE
For the price paid and proximity to the ferry it is the perfect choice.
DOG FRIENDLY
Cassie felt right at home! Lovely outside area for exercise and very welcome in the home.
Cannot recommend Pauline and Chris's accommodation more highly.
Thank you both.

This was a lovely place to stay and convenient for the ferry port at Rosslaire. Pauline was there to welcome me and couldn't have been nicer! She had lit a fire for me as well, so the dogs were pleased to curl up in front of it! The bed was so comfortable, and they have thought of absolutely everything you might need!

We really appreciated your warm welcome (to us and to Tara the dog), the comfortable and spacious accommodation, the excellent breakfast, your quick response to our messages before we arrived, and your flexibility.

Fantastic friendly greeting from Pauline the owner on arrival. We were shown our rooms which were fully equipped and beautifully furnished. En-suite was equipped with virtually everything you needed, even cotton buds and eye make up remover etc.. We were offered tea, coffee and cake and shown into her beautiful, large garden where we relaxed whilst she went to the shops. Pauline booked our evening meal at the local pub and offered to drive us there so that we could have a drink. She explained that the pub ran a drive you home service at the end of the meal. As we had a very early start to the ferry at Rosslare she arranged a great breakfast for 6.45 am.and even gave us some cake to take with us on our journey. We met her husband when he returned from work and he was equally as friendly. What a pity we could not stay longer to enjoy their hospitality. Hopefully, we may be able to return in the not so distant future. Will definitely recommend to our friends.
Nothing to dislike.

Couldn't have chosen a better place. We wanted a good value B&B for 3 nights to see a bit of southern Ireland from before travelling up to Dublin. Pauline & Chris were very welcoming and made our stay really comfortable. The facilities in the room were great, everything clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was terrific and Pauline kept supplying us with fresh baked cake. There is a local pub which does reasonable food in the evening and it's within walking distance (about 15 mins along a disused railway line running behind the property). Pauline also suggested a few places to visit while we were in the area which suited our traveling taste.
Couldn't fault anything

I was looking for dog-friendly overnight accommodation prior to taking a ferry from Rosslare and honestly couldn’t have chosen a nicer place within an easy 25 minute drive from the port. Human host Pauline and doggy host Penny couldn’t have been more welcoming. Whilst Penny was showing my dog around her garden and adjacent dog walk, Pauline revived my flagging spirits with complimentary tea and her own delicious carrot cake in her sunny haven of a patio upon arrival.
Guest rooms and common areas are most beautifully decorated and furnished with gorgeous antique gems; entirely relaxing and never overwhelming. Clearly, a lot of love has gone into creating our large, dog-friendly Garden Room which was a real home away from home. There was fabulous bed linen, superior tea and coffee making facilities (incl. ground coffee for a cafetière and Pukka herbal teas) and lots of personal attention to detail. Sustainability is important to Brookville’s hosts as evidenced by mineral water in glass, not plastic bottles, triple glazing and solar heated water. My large en-suite shower room had lots of complimentary toiletries and, again, much thought has gone into this: there were great towels, a make-up mirror, even cotton buds and pads, and much more. Both rooms were spotless and, at the end of a very warm day, neither too warm not too cold.
Breakfast at Brookvale is optional but highly recommended because the hot and cold menus are extensive. Portions are generous and the food is yummy. My only regret was, that I couldn’t do justice to Pauline’s offerings, despite my best efforts. Emphasis is placed on local produce wherever possible and the tableware is beautiful.
In summary, we had a lovely albeit short stay, in lovely surrounds, cared for by the perfect hosts. If I could rate Brookvale higher than 10, I would.
That we had only booked in for one night.

Pauline is a great host professional and very friendly. We were welcomed with coffee and cake on arrival which was greatly appreciated . We stayed in the garden room which is dog friendly as we had our dog with us. The room is very spacious and the bed is one of the most comfortable we have slept in. We were able to park our car right next to our room which was great as we had a lot of luggage. Will certainly stay again when next in the area . The breakfast menu is vast and delicious

Nice comfy spot, Pauline was very welcoming and friendly. Room was very modern and funky with unbelievable detail in many aspects. From the homemade carrot cake to the fresh muffins in the morning, could have stayed another night or 2. Nice tea and coffee selection too!
