Terrific, classy little place. My first time to Memphis had a really fun time. Didn't know the area at all but this was a perfect place to explore the historic South Main District and easy walk just about 6-8 blocks from Beale Street. The cottage was super clean and that is a big thing for me is cleanliness. I felt at home there and had no issues with the property at all. I felt safe and secure behind a locked gate in the front of the property. I spent 4 days on my own just walking the area from the Mississippi river just a few blocks away as well, to the Arcade Restaurant and Ernestine and Hazel right around the corner, to the Blues Hall of Fame Museum 2 blocks away, the Orpheum Theater, and then of course world famous Beale St. I walked back and forth each day going to Blues City Cafe or BB Kings and listen to unbelievable blues, soul, and rock music day and night. I would highly recommend this location for a fun and interesting time. The craziest part is that you are literally facing the Civil Rights Museum, which has a fantastic exhibit. You can see the site where MLK was assassinated at the Loraine Hotel from in front of the property. Also a cool little porch to sit out on if you want to. Rhonda was nice enough to meet me at the property with the keys and showed me around the place even though my plane was 4 hours late and didn't get in until 1030 pm. I appreciated that very much and she was available if needed.

Rhonda greeted us, let us in, and gave us all of the details for our stay. She was a great hostess and offered many ideas and tips for our visit. The house was just perfect for everything we needed. We were able to walk to the Orpheum, Beale Street, The FedEx Forum, and the Auto Zone stadium. The little neighborhood around the house offered great restaurants and eccletic shops and bars, one even rumored to be haunted. We met great people at DVOUR, a cheesecake and cookie bakery. The cheesecake is worth every single penny of the price. We ordered in burgers from Hueys, they were excellent. The house was clean, had plenty of dishes, silverware, and cups, and offered many extras in the bathroom if you forgot something. We had a great stay and I would definitely recommend to couples or a couple friends looking to explore the downtown Memphis area.
