Fantastic stay, in very sense of the word!

Everything about Locanda was top tier. The friendliness of the staff - Costanza, Guilia, Silvia - were as good as it gets. The breakfast was also outstanding.

Incredible hidden gem near Bolgheri

Absolutely loved this hotel. Staff was friendly, the location was great, the room was spacious and modern with a great bed and bathroom, the restaurant was amazing (captained by the great chef Bajram), and the breakfast was the best one I've ever had in Italy (Daniela is an incredible baker!). I was sad to leave, and would definitely come back. Thank you for everything!

If I could improve a few things, I'd suggest: 1. Adding a mini fridge to each room. This was the only hotel I stayed in Italy that didn't have one. 2. Create a small paved walking path for people to roll their luggage from the parking lot to the hotel (as doing that on gravel is pretty difficult). These aren't huge issues, obviously.

Fantastic property and restaurant

Absolutely beautiful property in a perfect location. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had in Italy.

The rooms could use some soundproofing—we could hear almost everything around us.

Our stay was wonderful! The room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The view was breathtaking. We only had breakfast which was amazing. We had option to pick from several breakfasts and the personell was super nice. Will definitely return again!

Beautiful location and views.

Beautiful location and property in the heart of the Bolgheri wine district. Comfortable spacious room and a generous breakfast. The locanda’s restaurant is also very good.

Beautiful place with amazing views and lovely gardens. Bedrooms were lovely. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful and the food at the restaurant was superb.

Everything was perfect although it was very hot while we were there and it would have been wonderful to have a swimming pool.

A must visit.

Locanda dell'Aioncino was a lovely surprise. The check-in happens close to their store area, where you can start to see some lovely local products. From that moment on you understand their preference for regional products all along the stay. The room was just amazing, the size of it and the bed, and God I fell in love with the shower area (it has a small light presence on the bottom of it, which gives an elegant touch for a night shower). But shall we continue to their food? A-MA-ZING. From dinner to breakfast, the staff is super friendly and the good just spotless. One of the best meat dishes (Bistecca properly cooked, sliced and seasoned) and desserts (the pistachio one) that we have tried in our Tuscany trip. A huge plus is their views. They are located on a countryside, with lot's of vineyards on their side, which allows you to enjoy a good walk trough them. When we visited (in October) was already a bit chilly and windy, but they have a lovely green area outside where we can definitely imagine our selves drinking a glass of wine or reading a book at sunset in an adequate season.

Been almost like a boutique hotel, they are a little bit priced up. But the fact is that there aren't many options around. Said that, would definitely recommend (and would visit again), if you are looking for a special moment.

Great place to enjoy Tuscany

Superb

Amazing breakfast! Beautiful property in the perfect location for Bolgheri. The day staff were super helpful, and provided excellent recommendations and wine tips. The bedrooms and facilities were lovely.

Make a reservation for dinner because it fills up! The evening staff was not as experienced as the daytime staff-- service was very slow and less knowledgeable.

Simply wonderful

The genuinely friendly and welcoming staff. The beautiful grounds of the tenuta. The lovely and really comfortable bedroom, with great bathroom (and fantastic toiletries). The amazing food of the restaurant and spectacular breakfast. This place is just perfect and special and we really hope to stay there again. It’s also a great place for a family with small kids, super accommodating.

Nothing at all. This was the best accommodation we came across in Italy (we are Italian and have been travelling around Italy for years). It is worth the trip!

Perfect Tuscan countryside stay

Gorgeous location surrounded by Tuscan countryside, yet close to Bolgheri. Beautiful interiors and huge bathrooms with great products. Stunning onsite restaurant and the best sweets tray for breakfast.

Nice spot in the middle of Bolgheri and very close to Bibbona, nice room with all basic amenities, spacious garden with fantastic restaurant, nice wine cellar, very calm place to relax, all amazing vineyards just around the corner
