Nestled in Guntersville Lake, this charming house for $215 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Sail, fish, ski or do nothing but relax on "The Cottage's" spacious deck overlooking Lake Guntersville. The Cottage is located at North Alabama Sailing Marina and is new throughout the two bedroom two bath 1200 square foot home. Large picture windows offer a million dollar view of the lake. Bring your own boat, sail or motor, and launch from our private ramp and have parking for the vehicle and trailer adjacent to the Cottage. Slip space is provided throughout your stay. Walk out in the morning with a cup of coffee and get on your boat ready for the day. A charcoal grill and lakeside fire pit are provided for evening entertaining. Enjoy downtown Guntersville antique shopping, local music and casual dining within a short three mile drive or enjoy a day reading on the deck overlooking Lake Guntersville. The house has all the amenities of home. It comes with a large front loading washer and dryer, and the kitchen has a full size electric stove, microwave and refrigerator. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cookware, utensils, and all the essentials to prepare a meal. The dining room has seating for six. Gather in the large living room and sink in the comfy leather sofa and enjoy the view of beautiful Lake Guntersville. Watch movies on the large flat screen TV or venture out on the deck for dinner and drinks and while away the evening. There are two spacious bedrooms. The master has a beautiful antique king bed and in-suite bath. The second bedroom has single twin and twin bunk beds with an adjacent full bath. The Cottage comfortably accommodates five guests. Linens for the bath and bedrooms are provided. Groceries, restaurants, gas and bait are available within a mile. "Fire by the Lake" restaurant and bar is within walking distance and "Char Burger", a local favorite, is within a quarter of a mile. Once you get here you won't want to leave!

Great location. Loved the fireplace and layout of the house! Everything needed was available. Appliances, fixtures, most furniture and linens were clean. Beds were clean and comfy! Floor was very dirty and bench at foot of bed was stained and dirty. House seemed to be newly renovated. Chose this house to be able to launch boat once and slip it; however that wasn’t possible due to water level, holes in boat ramp (as advised by man at Marina) and so much grass in the slip and route there. We launched at state ramp across the highway and there was another state launch available across the bridge - only minor inconvenience since we were there only a couple of days but paid premium price to do so. Additionally, we were charged a cleaning fee. Because we paid this fee I was surprised to be asked to strip all the beds and start load of laundry at the time of departure. We did as were asked but just didn’t feel appropriate after paying cleaning fee for a small place. Would recommend owner take a look at a couple of things we noticed: soft spot in bottom of bathtub in master bath and no hot water at kitchen faucet. Neither of these impacted our stay and weren’t reported while we were on property. I’m sure the owner will take a look upon report here.

Cute cottage located in the sailboat marina. Very clean,& properly stocked. Right on the lake. Boat ramp access & slip for boat. The hosts were very responsive & went out of their way to make us comfortable. We enjoyed our week at the cottage. The decor is what is pictures and we had no issues with the cottage. Located near a couple restaurants & stores that were in walking distance.

For 2nd year in row everything was perfect for our stay for the frog tourney. Location and Cleanliness is the reason for staying again this year. Will be looking forward to next year again.

Was as described and very clean. Host was very nice and answered any questions. Wish there was a better place to dock my boat but this was at a sailing marina. Everything else was fantastic. Also close to a restaurant we could walk to as well

Ideal weekend getaway for the family! The restaurant next door was a short walk and good food. Short drive to town to shop. House is clean and all the amenities we needed. We plan to stay again.

Property is very well maintained and nicely located. Very quiet and easy access. Was a great place to unwind from a tough week and also get a little remote work done. Nice area with good restaurants and amenities. Not too far from Huntsville so got to see the new Mission Impossible! Excellent hosts!

This is a beautiful cottage. The bed is so comfy. The cottage is clean and has everything you need. The kitchen is well-appointed. You’re close to G’ville restaurants and shops. My husband loved being able to put the boat in right by the cottage. We both loved being able to walk to dinner to Fire by the Lake. I would definitely recommend this place and we will be back.

We were in Guntersville for the 90th birthday celebration for my dad and just loved the cottage. Owners were friendly and easy to work with. Most family stayed in a nearby hotel, but we did serve two meals to family at the cottage. Everyone enjoyed the cottage, and I will definitely stay here again in the future!

We were very pleased with this rental. Everything was cleaned and well stocked. The home was quiet, even though there are neighbors. Location had quick access to everything we needed. We appreciated the smoke free, pet free home and the king size bed! Only two little recommendations: 1. Have an instruction sheet in the home for operating both TVs. (we never did get the one in the bedroom to work) 2. Ditch the little round soaps! It was a nice offering, but the texture is strange and they will NOT lather. We went to the store and bought soap. Thanks for the visit! We would happily choose your rental again!

I took my elderly parents on a last minute getaway. The cabin was perfect for “not so mobile” folks as they had a stunning view of the lake and sailboats. Cabin is cute, comfy and the location is very convenient to everything. Hosts are very responsive. ☺️ We definitely want to come back with a couple of best friends… and hubs says that next time “we get the master suite: NOT the bunk beds” 😆 Thank you Susan and T - is was the perfect respite that my family needed!

From the minute we booked online the hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. Prior to arrival all information was sent over to make checking in a breeze. When we arrived it was dark, you open the front door and you are greeted by a wonderful cottage home with all of the amenities of a 5 star hotel. The kitchen is equipped with all of the items you would have at home, high end appliances, beautiful gas logs in front of huge glass windows over looking sailboats and water will boast some of the most amazing sunsets you have ever seen, the finishes in all of the bathrooms are hotel quality and stunning with the cutest towel set ups, little hand soaps, beds were nice and cozy and clean. I seriously could go on and on about this property but it’s a must stay for you and your family. You can truly tell the hosts have went the extra mile with their properties to ensure you have an amazing stay. All of the little touches in the cottage can not go unnoticed, it is just simply perfect. DoorDash, Publix delivery, and other delivery options are available which was huge for us, the hosts were wonderful while we were there. We will be back!

We were very pleased with our short stay in this comfy & welcoming cottage. The furnishings are nice, beds comfortable, ample amenities. The location is convenient. A restaurant practically next door, beautiful sunrise views, safe area. We will not hesitate to stay there again. Owners very responsive to any questions or needs.
