You will love THE CABIN IN THE HOLLOW, located on beautiful Guntersville Lake in Historic Guntersville, Al. MAIN CHANNEL WATERFRONT, secluded with awesome large covered private deep water dock with electricity! World renouned fishing, sunsets and swimming from the dock! Pets welcome. This great cabin is just15 minutes to downtown restaurants, nightlife and grocery stores. We are just 1 hour north of Birmingham and 45 minutes south of Huntsville! It is nestled in the woods with amazing views! Experience the awesome sunsets while fishing from the dock and enjoy the refreshing lake breeze while grilling your catch of the day. Our Lake is excellent for boating, jet skiing, world renowned fishing, swimming and has many lodges, parks, marinas, restaurants and stores along it's shores - boat to the state park and enjoy golfing, hiking, festivals, dining and more! This is a newly renovated traditional lake cabin. The living room has comfortable leather furniture, a fireplace, and a 60" curved flat screen and DVD. There is a queen size bed in the main bedroom. The second bedroom has a regular bed with a twin above. Each bedroom has it's own TV and DVD player. There is one full bathroom. The kitchen is complete with Refrigerator, stove, cookware and silverware. There is a gas grill on the porch and a charcoal smoker\ grill on the pier. While there watch the eagles and deer that abound, enjoy the hot tub, the outdoor fire pit, and canoe the cove. Feel the warm sun during the day - and cozy to a fire at night. Whether you are seeking a peaceful retreat, a romantic getaway, or simply want to experience nature at it's best, you will find what you are looking for here.

Great cabin with everything you could need for a small group! We stayed for a four day fishing trip on the lake. We were able to utilize the boat house for our boat which really helped simplify our trip! The cabin is in a beautiful location and is super comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay and even caught a few bass fairly close the cabin! We are already trying to figure out a way to schedule a trip in the spring!

This cabin was wonderful! We loved that it was secluded - so peaceful and quiet. We were able to tie our boat up and the property manager even offered for us to put it in the boat dock. Great communication. We will definitely stay here again!

Great little cabin on the water. It's cozy and welcoming, and has everything you need. Cabin was clean and as pictured in the listing. Donny, the owner, is great to deal with. You can totally unwind here. We didn't have much cell phone reception, but that's what we were hoping for....we needed it to totally check-out from the real world. Would definitely recommend to others.

Beautiful setting, right on the lake, Mountain View’s, and the sunset…oh my. Kayaking was so peaceful. Swing our cares away as we watched the sunset, and the bats fly. We slept very well in the comfortable beds.

This cabin is like going back in time! The interior is updated but the wood ceilings & floors throughout give this cabin On Golden Pond vibes. The level lot is just steps away from the lake where you can enjoy the swing and boat house dock while you swim or fish the day away. The views are phenomenal & the owner was very easy to communicate with. We’ll definitely be going back to this charming cottage soon!

We really enjoyed our stay! My husband and I took our bass boat and spent most of the week fishing. We were able to use boat house which was super convenient. The fishing was great. We caught about 20 bass! When we weren’t fishing we were relaxing on the porch and enjoying the beautiful view of the lake. The host was awesome and the place had everything we needed! We will definitely stay here again!!!

It was very clean and very roomy loved the hot tub the view was amazing we loved the dock at the boat house the kids love fishing and using the kayak that you provided the porch swing on the dock was amazing drinking my morning coffee we loved the place we would recommend it to anyone that wants to get away

We loved this cabin. Beautiful views and quietness of the country but a short trip into town. Close to cathedral caverns and the space center. We enjoyed the hot tub and the lovely views.

What a fantastic time we had! Campfire s’mores, gas logs in fireplace with warm fire, kayaking on the lake, warming up in the hot tub. Drinking hot chocolate and watching James Bond from a huge stash of movies. I’ll be back for more!

nice house. Enjoyed seeing the eagles. unfortunately, my husband left his shoes and we never heard back from the owners. Also, the hot tub was broken and the internet didn't work. Only Verizon phones work. Great place to unplug.

Would highly recommend staying here. Everything was absolutely perfect! Very clean, quiet atmosphere, beautiful scenery, excellent host. I could go on and on. Also, we brought our boat and had plenty of room for parking and outside outlets for charging. Love the covered boat dock, swing, and floating dock. Thanks for sharing your cabin in the hollow with us!

We stayed 4 nights in this cozy little lake house and had a wonderful time! The details and decor of the house are very stylish and comfortable. We fished the whole trip, making the boat house a perfect amenity. Donnie checked on what we might need and let us know the house was ready, he was available and answered any questions we had about the place and the area, and made sure everything was clean and ready for us. We will stay here next time we return to Guntersville.

We work hard at home in Tennessee. Being able to sit out by the boathouse with a cup of coffee and watch the migrating waterfowl in our cove was awesome. The house was darling! Had everything you could want and decorated beautifully. Thank you for the lovely, relaxing stay.

The Perfect Getaway!!!

The cabin is the perfect getaway! The owner goes above and beyond to make your stay the best experience possible. The water was so peaceful to wake up to every morning and the hot tub was a great added bonus. The bed reminded me of a luxury hotel. Your body just sank into it. The cabin gave me the lighthearted safe feeling I had going to my grandparent's lake house every summer as a kid. We are already talking about planning our come back as soon as the weather warms up!

Beautiful view of the lake here! Everything was easy, from finding the place to communication with owner to ease of checking in and out. Really enjoyed all the amenities-- clean hot tub, great fire pit (loaded up with wood for us!), and the porch swing down by the boat house :-). Would have liked the WiFi to be a little better, but not important as we were there to get away! Would very much recommend this to anyone wanting a little fishing getaway or just a relaxing time overlooking the lake! Would definitely come back!

Renting was very easy. Checking in was very easy. The house was very clean and a very cozy feel to it. The porch, hot tub and fishing at the boathouse was fabulous. One of our favorite vacation spots ever
