Lovely hotel right in happening square. Live music great but noisy Saturday night all night.
Staff great, great breakfast, beds comfy.
As Australians would love tea in room.

All in all good service and great location.
At the beginning I was put in a very small room facing the inside court.
Only after I complained and requested a change I was put in a regular room. Unfortunately that happens when I check in as a single person. Since I pay the same amount of money that shouldn't happen.

Staff were very approachable and gave good recommendations on places to visit. Loved the interior where bar was. Cafe literally outside the front door with lively street vibe
A little bit difficult to find but a great location with some first class restaurants close by.

The staff were lovely and breakfast had a great variety.
Location was perfect, really close to the Metro and 28 tram stop. Really nice bars and restaurants close by. Fridge and safe in the room which was convenient.
Bed was comfy, but the pillows were really flat and we only had 1 each.
The hand held shower head attachment had been snapped and glued back on. So it wasn't really useable.

Its very centrally located. Shopping, restaurants, and metro are only a couple feet away.
You can hear every little thing from guest in other rooms snoring to everything going on outside your window.

Room was excellent and location fabulous
Internet was poor , stale smell in reception area

The place was very accessible with the metro just beside it, it was in the heart of Lisbon, very near the shops
It could be a bit noisy, there was always entertainment downstairs on the street, and there was some other quest who keep bangging the door on our first night there.

Location was amazing, staff was super nice and helpful
Very small rooms and old furniture and equipment. That hotel needs urgent renovation.
I would have expected better value for money

Excellent location for shops, restaurants and historical sites
We were placed on the 2nd floor, in a tiny room, a new bathroom with nowhere to hang wet towels or toilet paper, a room next to an elevator, noisy guests getting out of the elevator, and hallways smelled of sewers or overflowing toilets, the transfer driver made us pay 32Euros when we got to the airport instead of 20 Euros we were quoted by the reception staff member who booked the transfer for us. The car that arrived had no meter.

Great location
Staff could have been more friendly and made us feel more welcomed. Initially I was very disappointed with the room we were given as it was not as the pictures and appeared much smaller. I complained and we were moved to a much nicer room which looked like the pictures. Other than that, no issues.

The location is excellent. We had a room looking over the square and it was amazing to be in the center of action with buskers and music til after midnight. They have quiet rooms as well. The room has very spacious and comfortable. Beds huge and comfortable. Bathroom was large and clean. Really nice to have choice of fresh air and air conditioning.
Unfortunately there is no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, would have been nice even to be provided with a bottle of water, nor can you avail yourself to an iron, so be prepared to wear creased clothes! The safe was not attached to anything and didn't work.
Breakfast is the same every day, no variety, and if you don't get there early you will miss out on hot food, bacon etc as they do not refill it. The sausages taste like spam. There hot water urn was never on. The only fresh fruit is in baskets like apples etc otherwise fruit is out of a tin. No fresh cold milk. Tables take ages to be cleaned. Had to wait for cutlery. This area of the hotel needs attention.
The reception area needs local maps for tourists. Was told to go the Information Centre about 10 mins away if you know where you're going.

We stayed here the last night of our vacation to take the metro to the airport the next day. Steps to the Baixo Chiado metro stop. Great value. Large room. Very comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. Safe, convenient location right next to the Cafe A Brasileira. We appreciated the elevator with our luggage.

Location was excellent, the room was big enough for 3 people, the view was spectacular, beds were comfortable.
We used the metro to move around Lisbon, the metro station close to hotel is perfect.
From the hotel you can walk the whole downtown Lisbon, baixa, cais do sodre, terreiro do paço all at walking distance.
The coffee at breakfast was not nice at all, so we switched to tea and had our morning coffee outside the hotel (also nice and gave us a good excuse to eat some pastéis de nata).
