"Over the Top" is a stunning beach home sitting on a bluff overlooking the Gulf of Mexico! Located in the gated community of Destiny East, it sits on the largest lot in the neighborhood with ample parking for reunions or a small wedding party. This gulf view home has large decks on two levels with ample seating at all Polywood bistro tables. The outdoor living space is among the best you will find in any beach home for large family groups! The oversized pool and waterfall are completely redone with new plaster and tile in 2023. The pool deck furniture is all new Polywood chaise lounges and tables. The outdoor summer kitchen also has been updated for guests in 2023. You will bask in the sun poolside while enjoying views of the gulf for your vacation enjoyment! Once you enter the sliding doors from the pool, you have a game room with full size pool table and bar. Watch all the latest games or movies on the 55" inch TV. A full refrigerator and wet bar is close to the pool so there in no need to go upstairs for beverages or refreshments while bathing at the pool. There is a gill on the first floor pool deck to cook up your meals around the pool. The full kitchen is on the second full for evening dining and entertaining with outdoor seating on the balcony. On the second floor is a modern, open concept living, dining, and kitchen area. This luxurious main living space is bathed in natural light during the day and features intricate, high-end details that pull together the perfect space to relax with company or entertain. The gourmet kitchen offers granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and an island that also serves as a breakfast bar with seating for two. Perfect for conversations while cooking! The formal dining area offers gulf views and seating for 8. There is additional dining space for 6 guests by the outdoor kitchen on the balcony. For sleeping arrangements on this floor there are 2 King Suites. Each King Suite on this floor includes a private bathroom The third floor is mostly encompassed by the magnificent Master King Suite. This expansive room is a marvel featuring a living area with fireplace; two huge walk-in closets; and a jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower. Completing this spectacular master king suite is the private balcony. Great location. Management was extremely responsive. Plenty of room for large groups. Spa looks as if it was a hot tub at one point. It only stays the same temperature as the pool and jets do not work, but it wasn’t an issue as it was hot outside. Overall very nice property.

We had an enjoyable trip to Destin. Overall, the home was good. However, multiple ice makers weren’t in working condition, the pool was dirty, hot water was lacking for a house of its size, 2/3 bbq grills were in working condition, & very little refrigerator space for a house of its size. I would highly recommend a guest bringing blankets to add to the beds.

Friends Trip
We had an enjoyable trip to Destin. Overall, the home was good. However, multiple ice makers weren’t in working condition, the pool was dirty, hot water was lacking for a house of its size, 2/3 bbq grills were in working condition, & very little refrigerator space for a house of its size. I would highly recommend a guest bringing blankets to add to the beds.

The property is one of the best houses and locations in the Destiny East gated community. Large home with first floor space to entertain and use the pool and deck. Second floor has large kitchen, sitting space and outdoor grill/seating. We had three families and were able to spread out with 16 people. Be advised you need to bring all paper goods, soaps and beach towels. We had the pool heated, and it was well worth it. Would return again to this property.

Beach Vacation
This property is beautiful and located in viewing and short walking distance to the ocean. The rooms were nice and spacious, the kitchen was accommodating for our giant family, and we all got to enjoy the pool by the third day of our stay. Our only complaint was that the pool was not checked on our heated like we requested and paid for until the third day

Beach wedding
We loved our stay and the layout of the house.
We rented the house for us and our families to stay in because we were getting married on the beach. There was plenty of room for both of our families and everyone was very comfortable and amazed by the size and beauty of the house!

Our stay was wonderful
Our family celebrated life after being shut in after Covid. Our house was spacious for five families everyone enjoyed private pool except for few falls from fancy tiles outside the door. Definitely needs updating but we had a wonderful stay.

Cleaning crew needs to pay attention to dusting better on fans and bathroom mirrors. Also, both both gas grills that are pictured are not working, in fact one is completely gone on the second floor outside of the kitchen

Great Start to Summer
This property was very nice the location was great. The kitchen in this home was very well stocked with cooking needs, serving plates it has a crock-pot Two blenders . The only thing that I could say was a problem was the fridge was a bit small but we figured it out. for our stay. Great house would stay there again

Over The Top
The home fit us perfectly. We had 11 people for one week. Our 4 grandchildren, 15-21 years old, took the ground floor. Our girls took the king suite. Our boys took the queen bunk room. Only complaint about that room is there are no windows, no ceiling fan, no closet. The boys were fine with it. We set up an Electric fan for them. On the main level, our adult daughters and husbands each had a king suite. Top floor, huge master suite was ours and our brother was in the queen suite. Kitchen was well stocked. Prepared a huge Thanksgiving dinner in the house. The table seats 11+ very comfortably. For another dinner we barbecued and there was ample grill space. Pool heater worked like a charm. Pool was used most days. Weather cooperated and we were at the beach 3 or 4 days. That is our only "complaint" and not a HUGE one. You are supposed to walk down scenic 98 to the Crab Shack for beach access. It is 6/10 of a mile...10 minute easy walk. Our kids brought a wagon so bringing towels, etc to the beach was no problem. My only other complaint/suggestions: provide better bath towels, preferable bath sheets and I wish we had a Keurig coffee pot. There was a broken one there, not usable. Overall, we had a fantastic week with three generations and plenty of "breathing" room. We did not use the clubhouse, but utilizing the gym, pool and spa is definitely an easy option. We rented a 12 passenger pontoon boat from Gilligsns on our last full day. Highly recommend it. 4 wonderful hours. Docked at Fubar Pizza and ate outside on the water. A huge pod of Dolphins entertained us on the ride back to Gilligans. The property is well worn, but was very clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The management company was very responsive. Had two small issues and a handyman was at the house within an hour. Florida/Georgia Family of 11

A Great Family Vacation
We had a fabulous time at Over the Top. My wife and I have three married children and 10 grandchildren. All 18 of us spent the week in Destin. Over the Top had plenty of room for us. The view of the ocean across the street terrific. The bedrooms were large and bathrooms were available in all sleeping areas. Many hours were spent in and around the pool and at the beach across the street. We called for assistance twice to the office and help arrived within the hour. I asked both our children and our grandchildren if they would return to this house and the answer was a definite "yes". Shopping areas and several restaurants were within a mile of the house. The kitchen was large and we never felt crowded. Tables were in the kitchen and on the balcony by the kitchen. We really enjoyed having our coffee in the morning on the balcony while looking at the beautiful color of the ocean.Some of the sliding glass doors were a little difficult to open, but that was a minor issue. I would recommend that you "check out" Over the Top when searching for you next family vacation.

The house was gorgeous and very spacious. Great experience!
We had 2 families for the week. Everyone had their own bedroom and bath and plenty of space to enjoy. Nearly all of the rooms had gorgeous views of the ocean. The open floor plan between kitchen, eating area (both inside and out), and living area allowed for our large group to all be together for dinners, games or just hanging out together.
We had 2 small children with us so having the private pool and being close to the beach was perfect.
The house was well equipped and even had 2 icemakers.
We had a great week and would highly recommend the property!

Amazing house and location
Once again Beach Reunion and their staff blessed us with an amazing vacation. We planned this trip last minute over the fall and they found us a home called Over the Top. This home lived up to its name for sure. The floor plan was one of the best we have seen. We have stayed in many 7 to 9 bedroom houses with Beach Reunion and this house seemed just as big even though its only 5 bedrooms. It can sleep a lot more people than a normal 5 bedroom house. Its right across from the beach and you can see the ocean from each level. All the small details in the home were great. I would recommend Beach Reunion and the Over the Top home to any family looking for a great vacation house.

Perfect Wedding Reception Location
This beautiful home was rented fora few day stay to prepare for a wedding at the Emerald Grande and then the reception to follow at Over the Top. This was the perfect location for my reception. Gorgeous view, ample space, incredible interior. My guests all were very impressed with the house and we as the renters were very happy with the amenities. Carrie, the concierge, was very very helpful and was there to aid in any need we had. Everyone at Beach Reunion was helpful and upbeat. I live in Destin but will rent with them again if the opportunity arises.

Decent house — needs refurbishing - beware of the disappearing beach view.
I will start by saying overall this house was ok, it’s a nice large house that has some great features. However, as detailed below, there is definitely room for improvement and at this price point for weekly rental I don’t feel like we received the best value. The biggest disappointment/surprise was that the unobstructed beach view (as displayed in the pictures) is now partially obstructed by new construction currently ongoing. Based on the progress it looks like the construction started at least a couple weeks before our stay and I think we should have been notified by Beach Reunion that this was occurring. As a group we tend to spend a lot of time out on the balcony and the ongoing construction definitely made this experience less enjoyable. Friday morning was the worst when they were pouring the concrete and had two large trucks making a lot of noise. There are a lot of rental properties in the Destin area, this is our fourth year renting in the area and though we had another good vacation it’s unlikely we would select this property again, especially at the current rate.

Great Vacation Rental
We recently stayed at Over The Top for our family vacation. We had a total of 15 in our party. The elegant house had plenty of space for everyone. It was very comfortable and had very nice, up-scale amenities. The third-level master suite was amazing; large open space, large closet, large walk-in shower, large aerated tub. The kitchen was exceptional; lots space, great stove. The downstairs bar area was great for relaxing and playing pool. The elevator was very convenient for moving luggage and for the older/younger members of our party to use to travel between floors. The pool was very nice and included lots of shallow space for kids to play. The view of the Gulf was amazing even though it is across the street from the beach. The community playground and pool was great for kids. The staff at Beach Reunion was exceptional; very kind people. They go out of their way to help. We had a couple of minor maintenance problems; the staff responded immediately and remedied the problems (placed a new refrigerator before our arrival after discovering on their own that the original was broken and maintenance staff always arrived at house within 10 minutes of any call). The walk to the beach was fairly short. The provided golf cart was very handy for the older/younger members of our party. The beach umbrellas and chairs that are provided and set up with the house rental were very convenient. The company that provides the service, Sunset Beach Service, was easy to work with, very helpful and friendly, and offered great prices for additional umbrellas/chairs. There were some very good restaurants (Kenny D's, Crab Trap, Bad Ass Coffee) within walking or golf-cart drive distance. Over The Top is a great property managed by a great rental company, Beach Reunion. I highly recommend both.

Fantastic Family Vacation Destination
We recently visited Over The Top for an adult kids and families vacation. There were 8 kids and 10 adults there for a week. We found the house held up to the name "Over The Top". The management service was very responsive and was always available. We cooked and partied inside and out and felt completely at home. Kids and adults loved the pool; the beach was amazing and only a short walk away. I would come back and absolutely recommend this house/location; thanks for the great time!

Family get together
The home was beautiful with lots of room. A few problems exist that shouldn't be in a home in that price range. Both gas grills need attention. They leak gas and are difficult to light. The hot tub does heat water but jets don't work and the waterfalls do not work. We would definately come back as long as the view remains unobstructed and these items are taken care of.
