Really love this place. The property and Renzo at the wine bar and reception were amazing.

The villa we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. The pool is absolutely amazing. Spotless, incredible views, quiet, shaded trellis area if needed. Fantastic breakfast and impeccable service at the wine bar.

Wifi connection was very spotty. We didn't really get reception in our villa. The food for dinner tasted amazing but service was rough. I am from the U.S. and I know our culture is different when it comes to length of meals, but I shouldn't have to wait 45 minutes between each course. Our wine glasses were empty for most of the meal because nobody stopped by our table between servings. You could have made another $50.00 per meal on wine if someone would have just checked on us. If we were aware of this, we would have purchased a bottle. We were there for over 3 hours each night we dined. 2nd time we didn't want to wait for desert because the previous night it took an hour to order and have it served. The restaurant missed out on 2 deserts and 2 desert wines. Another $50.00 on this meal. Most of the people were from Europe in the restaurant and they all looked miserable waiting for their food and checks.

We had always wanted a Tuscan villa stay and this was just superb!

Everything, the view, the room, the pool. We had an apartment to ourselves, it was beautifully set out. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

Just to be prepared that there is only one small restaurant, you need a car to drive into town for food and supplies. Otherwise the location is great

Ideal Tuscany Retreat

Beautiful views, great property, loved our apartment. Onsite restaurant was good too. There is an old pilgrimage trail/ Roman road that dead ends into the property.

Only one thing. The step down in the floor in La Stalla between bedroom hall and bath is a trip hazard because the tile blends in. I put a piece of white tape on the edge of the step to remind us, but the property should look into making the floor height difference more obvious.

We absolutely loved our stay here, it was by far the nicest accomodation we stayed in during our time in Italy. The room was gorgeous with classic Tuscan interiors, amazing view, the kitchen facilities were great, and rooms were so spacious. We were able to organise a bike company (recommended by the hotel) to drop off and pick up bikes. We also did a walk-in wine tasting at the bar and went to Osteria 1126 for dinner which the staff kindly found us a booking for. The grounds are also lovely and can sit out in the courtyard enjoying your morning coffee or lunch. The location was down a one way road however it meant we were staying out in the Tuscan hills which is what we valued.

Exceeded my expectations and we wish we booked more nights

The views are absolutely stunning. The property captures the entire essence of Tuscany and the staff is 5 stars. Breakfast is delicious as well.

I can not think of anything they could improve upon. Fabulous stay!

Beautiful place with a breathtaking view. Hotel staff were very friendly, the rooms were nice but quite small. Great bathrooms and comfy beds. There were nice common areas were we could gather with our friends.

The pictures do not do it justice. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. The most remarkable part of this place was the stunning views. We have been to Tuscany a few times and usually stay in the country but nothing was as beautiful as this view. Also the buildings were old and quaint. It was almost like a little village.

100% RECOMEND THIS AMAZING PLACE !!! EVERYTHING IS FANTASTIC HERE. WINE TOUR AMAZING FOOD IN RESTAURANT AND PERFECT VIEW FROM WINDOWS. STAFF HELP YOU ALWAYS AND EVERYWHERE. THE BEST TIME IN MY HOLIDAY.

The staff were exceptional and friendly. The pictures don't do this place justice...its even nicer in person! A perfect place for a vacation from your vacation to chill out for a few days. Comfortable bed and very nice and clean room. Highly recommend.

Amazing, defined recommend!

It was just fantastic! Really beautiful hotel, amazing breathtaking views, friendly staff, just perfect! Very nice pools, the restaurant for dinner was very cozy. We would definitely recommend and come back!

The only thing that could have been better is breakfast. You can not just get things yourself from the serving table, but have to ask the waitress to bring things per peace to you. It is not like you order a dish, but ask for 1 egg, 2 peaces of cheese, etc… We guess it is a post covid thing, but there are only 2 waitresses working and quite a lot of guests. Yesterday we had to wait for 40 minutes before we got our food. Also there was no mini- fridge in the room and also no shop around to get snacks.

A peaceful stay in a stunning Tuscan wine estate, close to San Gimignano.

Beautiful location with stunning views, calm and peaceful location. Lovely high quality restaurant with friendly staff. Excellent Chianti wine from the vineyard. A perfect spot to sip wine and watch the sun set over the Tuscan hills. Choice of two lovely pools, neither very busy. It would be a great venue for a wedding (has its own chapel) or a special party.

Restaurant food was lovely but the menu did not change during the week we stayed. It would be nice if there could be a few "specials". There is nowhere to buy soft drinks / simple refreshments during the day other than the restaurant at lunchtime and the wine bar which, as name suggests, serves wine and is only open in the evenings so we recommend that you bring some refreshments with you if you don't want to drive down the hill to Poggibonnis. Perhaps an honesty bar could be provided? The bathroom in our self-catering room had issues with plumbing and could do with being replaced in the near future. None of these issues spoiled our holiday and we will definitely return!

Magical place for a holiday in Tuscany

We were staying in ‘torre alta’ which had unforgettable panoramic views over the Tuscan country side. Peaceful. Very helpful staff. Huge pool. Great base to explore all of Tuscany.

Breakfast service could have been better. It is not a buffet, you must select what you want on a piece of paper and wait for the staff to collect it and bring it to you. Not only does this take a long time, but it creates more work for the staff and they are visibly stressed out when it is busy. It is at least a 15 minute drive to the nearest town and to get dinner onsite you either need a restaurant reservation, or pre order a ‘take away’ dinner before lunch time. Also the cleaning was a bit excessive, it’s not environmentally friendly to replace the bars of soap every day.

A nice facility but set expectations low for the rooms.

The grounds are great including the pools and sitting areas. The restaurant is terrific and the wine bar is nice to have on lactation.

Our room wasn’t nearly as nice as the photos would have you believe. The first room was unacceptable so they moved us to a little nicer room, but it was still spartan and in need of an upgrade. The staff said they were trying to change the photos on Booking.com to more properly reflect the actual rooms.
