The host was easy to work with and very considerate of our plans. The property was flawlessly decorated and absolutely clean and well kept. Staying at the S&W makes the downtown convenient and very walkable.
I would recommend this wholeheartedly.

The condo was spotless, comfortable and as advertised. The owner was very thoughtful about all the details of check in and everything you could possibly need was available. It is perfectly situated in the heart of downtown so we had only to park our cars and walk the rest of the time. Would definitely recommend.

The unit was exactly as advertised! The bed was comfortable and we loved the location downtown. Close to everything! Would definitely stay here again when we visit Asheville again.

This condo was amazing! It was very spacious and beautifully decorated, with all the comforts of home. As well as, great coffee with a variety of creamers, a sweet welcome sign and lovely fresh flowers! The location is also the best. We were centrally located to wonderful restaurants and shopping! Karen was the most gracious host! We will definitely be back!!!

We loved our stay at Karen’s condo. It was clean and comfortable, and walking distance to everything we wanted to do in downtown Asheville. It was fun being able to go downstairs to sample some of the great food and drink offered at S&W Market. Karen’s communication was fantastic. We plan to stay here again next time we visit!

This condo is the best! Artfully decorated, superbly appointed, convenient location, clean. Plenty of storage spots for all our “stuff” in the bedroom and bathroom. The fresh flowers were lovely and much appreciated! It’s worth repeating that this condo is beautiful and, clearly, the hosts have anticipated the guests every need. Also, Karen did a great job providing us all the information we needed for our stay.

We wanted to spend time in Asheville downtown where the action is. This was the perfect location. The condo was everything advertised and more: stylish, roomy, easy access. Will recommend and stay again.

This condo is absolutely a gem in the heart of downtown Asheville! The hosts are wonderful to work with, the communication both before, during and after our stay was amazing, and we couldn't have asked for a better location to stay while visiting the area. Everything in the condo is top notch, right down to the fresh flowers in the kitchen, bathroom and dining room! We will definitely stay here again when we're back in the area!

Perfect location right downtown walkable distance to everything and a quick 8 minute drive to the Biltmore. The condo is very clean and Karen had great communication and even sent pictures with step by step instructions on where to park and how to get into the building! Will definitely be back!!

The best communication a host has ever had to ensure our stay was perfect. If any other review has any negatives about this property disregard, it was in a great location, noise level was minimal, and we had everything plus more to enjoy Asheville. We hope to be back!

Excellent hosts and great property to stay when in Asheville.

This property is beautiful! Exactly as billed... spacious, clean, amply supplied, amazingly decorated, perfect location... Parking (payment required) is right across the street. When moving in, you enter an unmarked back door (via code) into a dark hallway and go up a few stairs to an area to take the elevator upstairs. This was a little unnerving but it's just the back entrance of a business - it turned out to be no deal.

If you want to be downtown this location is perfect and the owner is very responsive. Entry and exit is unusual since you have to go in and around the S&W. If you are a light sleeper there is noise that carries through from condo next door and elevator.

This beautiful and very cool condo is walking distance to the best restaurants in Asheville. Though in the middle of everything, it is very quiet. Comfortable bed and reading chairs and a table perfect for working. The hosts so pre-prepared me for my stay that I was able to plan ahead for some of my activities and dining. Easy to get in and to check out. Great choice for a single or couple to enjoy the best of a great town.

The condo is well appointed, nicely furnished, and has absolutely everything you need! Karen has thought of everything! She was very easy to communicate with and gave perfect directions on how to park, enter and enjoy the condo. The location cannot be beat for enjoying everything Asheville and the surrounding area has to offer .

I was looking to be right downtown in Asheville and this was the perfect spot. The condo's exposed brick and cool fixtures make it feel urban and sleek, and it's really roomy for a 1-bedroom! It would have been enough common space and kitchen space for a 4-person group. It was easy and convenient to park in the nearby lot and then walk to all the downtown places we wanted to visit. I've done a lot of short-term rentals (less than a week), and this place was managed really well: very easy check in, very easy check out, and quick responses whenever I texted. A great place to stay!

I have not found a better located property for a trip. The condo is clean, well appointed and I appreciate Karen’s responsiveness to our queries. We love Asheville and will return to this condo!

We loved the cabin location, super close to downtown Gatlinburg but also the creek flowing right outside it was wonderful and relaxing to sleep to. We really enjoyed the hot tub at night time too. Would def stay again.

We spent 6 nights at the S&W and absolutely loved every bit of it! The parking lot is located just outside the back door of the building so super convenient. The condo is quiet and although some of the reviews address hearing the neighbors next door, we didn’t experience an inconvenience from neighbors.
The condo is a small gallery, walls filled with great art which we love to see. The space is perfect, beds comfy and bathroom essentials in abundance. Karen is the perfect host! With clear communication on parking, locks, areas of interest and even suggested a couple of trails we should take.
We spent most of our stay in the great outdoors hiking trails and falls only an hours drive away.
The condo is located in the heart of DT. Blocks of amazing restaurants, bars, and plenty of shopping. You couldn’t find a more convenient location if you’re wanting to stay in the DT.

Karen was wonderful to work with - answered all of my questions before I had a chance to ask them! The condo is beautiful and clean. The location is convenient to all things downtown. My daughter decided she wanted to go hiking and to the Biltmore, so we ended up driving more than I initially intended. However, parking in the recommended lot was super easy, convenient, close and cheap. And it was wonderful to come “home” to rest, clean up and walk to a number of different options for dinner. Overall, a great experience. Thanks Karen!

My wife and I spent Thursday to Tuesday in Asheville to celebrate special birthdays. We were very pleased with the accommodations and with our stay. The listing was "as advertised" and Karen communicated well before our stay.
A couple of "random thoughts:"
- Asheville has gotten more popular and more expensive so the condo was more than we might have spent in the past but the market has changed.
- The location was A+. It could not have been more convenient.
- She surprised us with a cake so that was a very nice touch.
- Parking downtown is in a parking garage very close by. It was $12 per day so that added up a little. We mostly walked places so once the car was parked we did not leave for a day or two.
- Having the food hall downstairs was nice but hours are limited so we actually did not take advantage of it much.
We love downtown Asheville and ate our way through our visit. We would definitely recommend this unit to friends!

Me and my wife loved staying right in the heart of downtown! It is a beautiful building with restraunts on the bottom floor and a great bar one door over! The host Karen was very kind with lots of helpful instruction and was very easy to get in touch with if need be. You can walk to anything down town from here. Me and my wife had no need to drive anywhere all weekend besides the biltmore house which is just a short 12 to 15 minuet drive! We very much enjoyed the fresh flowers through out the apartment and the apartment was very clean and nice! My only issue was that there was little to no sound proofing between us and the unit next to us. We could hear them talking from our room like they were right next to us. That is the only reason for 4 stars and not 5. Even so, the place was very nice, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone that is looking for a nice weekend getaway. I know we would love to stay here again!

We had a lovely stay! The condo is cozy and nicely appointed. Within walking distance of lots of restaurants and shops and very accessible to the highway. Communication with Karen was great - especially the directions to help us park and access the building outside of business hours. Would definitely stay here again!

This condo is in a great location to explore all of downtown Asheville. It is just as listed, very cozy with thoughtful touches throughout. I am a coffee drinker first thing in the morning, and it was so nice to have a lovely brew plus a range of creamers to choose from on hand! Comfy bed, nice thick towels, bathroom products all great. Our communication with Karen was quick and easy. Karen answered her phone right away when we had a bit of a problem finding the back door when we first arrived because of construction next door obscured it. That was our only hiccup. Our second night we were too tired to go out and very much enjoyed the bao from Bun Intended on the first floor of the S & W bldg. We will definitely here if we return to Asheville.

The condo was extremely nice. Decorated cool. It had anything you needed if you forgot something. The owner was amazing at communicating with us on the process of getting in. It is in the center of all the shops and restaurants. Definitely staying here next time we come.

Loved the location of the condo in the historic building with restaurants on the first level. Walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants in downtown Asheville. Beds were comfy (even the sofa bed) and the owners were quick to respond when I had a few questions. You can't go wrong staying here!

This property was exactly as advertised, and just what we had hoped for. A charming one-bedroom with a separate couch-bed for others, and a welcoming living and kitchen space. The location is great, right in downtown Asheville. The hosts really thought ahead about what guests would want in a stay. Lots of thoughtful little touches, from seasonal plants and decorations to multiple types of fresh coffee creamer in the fridge. The rental is above a food hall, but the noise and food smells don't travel upstairs. It felt like a comfortable oasis in the city.
