Experience the Santa Fe Style! In the heart of Santa Fe, this authentic adobe home was built in 1898. Gorgeously remodeled to add modern amenities to the old world charm, the space offers multiple indoor and outdoor areas to both congregate, or retract and relax in your privacy. Surrounded by beautiful details crafted by local artisans, travel to an alternate reality. Located a leisurely stroll away from the Plaza, enjoy the Old Town, museums, art galleries, restaurants and shops with ease. The Space: This is the main house of a Downtown mansion, thought to be built in 1898. After being the home for one of the oldest Spanish families in Santa Fe, the compound went through renovations in 1956 and 2017. The home is gorgeous with ample space for everyone to enjoy. The space includes a large master bedroom with its private courtyard and an outdoor fireplace, and two additional guest bedrooms each with bathrooms. For sleeping arrangements, there is an additional twin size daybed in the master bedroom and two single sofa beds in the living room. A favorite hangout for birds, the courtyard is a true oasis! With its beautiful trees and flowering plants, it embraces the house with plenty of outdoor space for entertainment, cookouts, dining or even meditation. The deck over the garage is accessed through steps that are embellished with Mexican Talavera tiles. Sitting here, you overlook the neighborhood and feel elevated to the gorgeous Santa Fe sky for a morning yoga, a fun conversation with your companions or sun/moonbathing. The hammock hanging between the old clothesline poles in the back courtyard off the dining room is the perfect spot for a rendezvous with your favorite book or to take an afternoon snooze in the shade of two magnificent elm trees. The XFinity Cable TV service provides an endless lineup of HD channels. If that is not sufficient, the built-in AppleTV and soundbar can be used with your AppleID to access all the music or other content you desire, or the Smart TV will help you access any on-line entertainment service you subscribe to. The house is equipped with high-speed internet. Guest Access: Access is through a separate and lockable gate into the courtyard or through the garage. Seven foot adobe walls provide safety and privacy. Parking spaces include 1 in the garage, 2 in the driveway, total of 3. The indoor and outdoor space is yours. This is a historic Old Town compound and there are two attached casitas with separate entrances which will not interfere with your space and privacy. The neighborhood: The Rosario Hill neighborhood is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Santa Fe. Many Spanish families owned large parcels here through grants by the Spanish King. A diverse residential area, the neighborhood incorporates much older family homes next to renovated beauties such as the historic Downtown Mansion this casita belongs to. Across from Arroyo Mascras, the feeling is one of living right by a river with tall and gorgeous elm and queen of paradise trees inhabiting the arrayo. Getting around: A leisurely short walk will get you to the Downtown busses. The Railyard District where you can find the organic farmers market as well as the Railrunner Train Station that provides transportation to Albuquerque Sunport Airport is no more than three minutes by car or Uber, or 18 minutes of walk. There are two routes to walk to the Plaza. The shorter route is through Griffin Street to the right of the house when you get out the door. The more scenic route is through the Grant Avenue and it takes about 10 minutes as it leads you by the historic Federal Courthouse and Scottish Rite Temple, the US Postal Service Headquarters, Santa Fe Convention Center and Georgia O'Keefe Museum before the beautiful Plaza. Turn left from the house and just follow the arroyo. Grant Avenue is the first right up Rosario Boulevard.

From the first steps in Villa Rosario greeted us with such a sense of Peace. We were able to utilize all the different spaces with a mix of business and relaxation. Fireworks from the roof top patio on New Years Eve, the writers desk, having a business zoom meeting at the large dining table, reading nooks, close to excellent dining, and Ski Santa Fe are just a few of the highlights of our stay. Sasi was so attentive to all our needs and communication was top notch!

We had a lovely stay and warm holiday away with our family of five. The kitchen is fantastic for cooking - the space ample for diverse needs/ages, the location perfect for small breakout wanderings into & around town. Thank you for such a thoughtfully curated/designed home. We look forward to returning again!

A lovely stay!
A lovely stay!
This was such a beautiful property to stay at with some family and friends. Everyone was in awe when we walked into the place. It is a short walk to the plaza, which is pretty neat as well. The hosts were amazingly accommodating, especially answering a late night call when we were having some issues finding the place. (Fault of our own, it's actually quite easy to locate.) I would absolutely love to come back. Thanks so much for hosting us!

Northeast Santa Fe was the perfect retreat for our girls weekend. The home is beautifully decorated and the gardens lush and gorgeous. We enjoyed coffee in the morning sunshine each morning and ended our evenings under the full moon and starry sky by the fire. We will definitely recommend to friends and return on our next trip.
