Il Falconiere Realis & Spa, a hotel and Michelin-starred restaurant in Cortona, is a place we return time to time and again and again. Architecturally, the hotel embodies a concept of living amidst nature, offering guests peace, comfort, and every opportunity to enjoy the natural surroundings, cozy rooms, an outdoor pool, and dedicated wellness and spa facilities. The interiors are stylishly designed down to the last detail and equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay; they are comfortable and inviting, boasting impressive views of the Tuscan valley that make this property truly special and unforgettable. The dining experience is exceptional—starting with the setting, which offers three fantastic and distinct atmospheres: outdoor dining on two separate terraces with varying views of the countryside, an indoor meal in a beautifully warm and inviting restaurant, and an exclusive experience in a wonderfully designed glass pavilion. This is complemented by top-quality gastronomic delicacies—the very reason the restaurant holds two Michelin stars. The staff, both in the restaurant and the hotel, are courteous and always at your service, smiling as they ensure guests can fully enjoy everything this beautiful estate has to offer. All in all, it is a place that beckons you back, providing a profound sense of comfort, peace, security, and beauty. And yes, we will certainly be returning in the future again.

We stayed at Il Falconiere Relais & Spa as a family of five, two parents and our three sons, for five wonderful days, and the experience exceeded all our expectations.
The property is simply breathtaking. Every corner is beautifully designed, meticulously maintained, and aesthetically perfect. It is immediately apparent how much thought, care, and attention to detail have gone into both the architecture and the surroundings.
This is Tuscany exactly as you imagine it from books and films: peaceful and serene, surrounded by endless greenery beneath beautiful blue skies. From time to time, the sound of the nearby church bells drifts through the air, while the picturesque town of Cortona crowns the landscape and creates an almost magical setting.
The spa is wonderfully indulgent, and the breakfast is outstanding: varied, fresh, delicious, and served in the elegant setting of the Michelin-starred restaurant. Even the chickens wandering freely around the property somehow add to its unique and authentic Tuscan charm.
The staff deserve special mention. They are exceptional: warm, professional, courteous, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Their positive attitude and excellent service made us feel truly cared for throughout our stay.
And, of course, do not miss the Michelin-starred restaurant. The Michelin star is absolutely well deserved. The food, atmosphere, service, and setting combine to create a truly memorable dining experience. We also highly recommend trying the restaurant's local wine, which perfectly complements the cuisine and the Tuscan atmosphere.
During our stay, we used Il Falconiere as the perfect base for exploring the surrounding region, taking daily trips to Cortona, Lake Trasimeno, Pienza, and many other beautiful places throughout Tuscany. Returning to the peaceful elegance of the property each evening was always a pleasure.
