One of the best accommodations I've had the pleasure of staying at! The location was great and had incredible landscape views, not to mention we were surrounded by sheep! The place itself was wonderful, very comfortable and cosy and exceptionally well equipped, with everything you could ever need in the kitchen, full washing and drying facilities, smart TV, and even a wood-burning stove if you fancy an even cosier option than the excellent electrical heating. I cannot praise the kitchen enough, as someone who loves to cook I've never before managed to find such a well equipped kitchen (down to the kitchen scales!), including a generous stock of basic ingredients such as salt and pepper, tea and coffee, and even olive oil. The beds were supremely comfortable and we were even given a choice of thinner or thicker pillows, whilst the bathroom had both a separate shower and bath. Arrival and departure were also super simple and convenient, and Pam was exceedingly helpful and kind. Cannot recommend the place enough! :)

The location was fantastic. Remote enough to feel that you were on your own but close enough to civilisation when you needed it. The house was perfect in size and had everything that you voild possibly need. Contact with the owners was very easy and they were quick to respond to any questions and went out of their way to help.

Kitchen was v well equipped. Everywhere was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. Heaters kept us nicely warm

Cold tap in kitchen was really hard to turn. Nowhere to hang our jackets to dry when we got back from a wet walk.

Great accommodation. Very remote location with beautiful scenic views from the cottage and yet easily accessible to all parts of the island. Highly recommended. Great place to base a week’s holiday on the island.

Sleeps 4. Bedrooms nice. Convenient. Nice views. Booked to be close to another cottage so it worked well. Good communication from Pam.

Kitchen taps difficult to turn off. Hot water was far too hot.

The property was advertised as having two beds, but only one was made up. The owner assumes two people will share one bed, in the downstairs bedroom, but this is not stated in the information on Booking.com, or in the introductory email, when the booking had been paid. This information is only available once the guests have arrived at the property. There is only one room for the use of guests upstairs, all the other rooms are locked. This makes it seem very claustrophobic.

Great location. Spotlessly clean. Well stocked with everything you need in to make it a very comfortable stay.

The WiFi could have been better. But this goes for the whole island, so you have to be a bit less reliant on your devices...which is no bad thing!

It was in a superb location and a fabulous cottage. Very comfortable and warm. Everything we could have wanted and more! Well furnished and a lovely comfortable bed. Constant hot water and a lovely deep bath plus a superb shower!
