Loved Amsterdam.

Hotel was old but had lots of character. Tram was just outside and 5 mins to stop. Easy to get to city centre. I’m

Beds to small and mattress slid off base. Could just get into the shower through the small door of which half opened onto basin Could hardly move around the beds ( twin room) Maybe ok for one person. Needs freshening up, walls are badly scuffed and dirty.

Det var ett väldigt trevligt område, lugnt och fint. Frukosten var helt okej.

Sängen stod placerad intill väggen vilket innebar att en fick klättra för att komma i säng vilket var lite obekvämt. Sen sluttade golvet i rummet vilken gav en lite obehagskänsla.

Disappointed

Not much. I guess it had character. Breakfast was adequate The price was cheaper than most places in Amsterdam but I now understand why!

The room was tiny and pretty depressing. The stairs were a real struggle to get up and down with a heavy bag. It was very difficult to shower as the bathroom was so small

Nice hotel, great loc in a cozy old house. More clean rooms & better breakfast (& not just 8-10am).

The location of the hotel is awesome, close to the center yet quiet enough, public transport is also very good (you can just take bus 397 from Schiphol here and take tram 2 from the hotel to Center, Museums, Amsterdam Centraal etc) also the staff is really nice. The rooms are spacious and have nice inner height.

Our room was clean but not super-clean. The breakfast is OK, but you have limited options to choose from and also, it's only served from 8-10am, so if you go on a tour or need to catch an early plane, you cant really have use of it (we paid for all 3 days, but had breakfast on only one day because of it).

Very good

Very decent hotel in the perfect neighborhood (where Amsterdam is truly beautiful 😊). Fair ratio of price to quality.

Only minus that is worth mentioning are pretty thin doors (?) which let all the noise in (take earplugs if you want to have nice sleep)

we were told the team line was directly in front of building - it was however was closed off( we paid a lot on taxis ) if we knew about the tram line earlier we might have changed location. other than that the hotel was clean and comfortable and staff were lovely

The property is situated in a beautiful upmarket part of Amsterdam, surrounded by expensive restaurants in a quaint neighbourhood. A very modest and small hotel with basic rooms and no amenities, no fridge or waters in the room.

The rooms are extremely basic and the beds are extremely soft, with pillows that were not great. A small hotel that did not deliver value and was expensive for what we received. We loved the area. There are still renovations being done outside on the street so not easy access for Uber or taxi and a short walk from the drop off point. Only a couple of International channels to choose from on the TV, wifi was intermittent

Its a great place to stay

Very nice hotel, easy to access public transport and there is a grocery store close by and some good restaurants.

They need to put coffee in their rooms

Good hotel but away from the hustle and bustle (if that's what you are looking for)

The hotel was clean and comfortable. We got free coffee in the morning so that was great. This is in a residential area so very quiet. You can get a tram nearly to the hotel with about a 5 minute walk.

We had to climb into our bed as it was between two walls. As stated above this hotel is in a residential area so very little to do around here so if you are out for the night life you do need to take trams to get around.

Beware road construction

No elevator and road construction in front of hotel. Had to walk 300+ meters with bags to get there down a narrow path

Good Location!

Location is great, close to the Vondelpark and the city center. This is a beautiful neighborhood.

There was no fridge in the room, the safe wasn't working, the towels are old and not pleasant, and there were sockets only on the side of the bed. I expected more considering the price.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The construction was not expected but we knew we were not near the city, it was our error.

The front desk folks and staff throughout the building were incredibly helpful and kind. the bed was very comfortable and the room well decorated and clean. The location wasn’t near the city center but the public transportation was close.

There was extensive construction that was being done on immediately next to our room. they began around 7:30-8:00 each morning so sleeping in was not an option. The location had a nice park that we enjoyed but overall if you’re visiting it is a long walk to get to the city spots where there is activity and dining options.

1. The staff was quite friendly and helpful 2. The neighborhood was really Nice and close to a nice park to walk at 3. Breakfast was nice with a good variety of things to eat 4. Rooms were very quiet throughout the day and night, you heard other guests arrive but it wasn't too much to be bothered at night

The room was close to the garden a probably during the day a couple of bugs entered the room only to be set free at night.

Our room (41) did not look at all like the photo on website. Small, minimal and tired-looking furniture. Bed with noisy mattress or springs. Miniscule bathroom with no hooks to hang towels or clothes. Ground floor and right on the road (which luckily for us was closed for road works). À long treck from centre. Very èxpensive given its location and merely adequate room.
