Nous avons bénéficié d’une chambre au -1
Espace moins agréable que dans les étages Couloirs froids à la sortie de chambre.
La Salle de douche et chambre auraient besoin d’un petit coup de fraîcheur.
Espace sans doute assez joli en un autre temps mais marbre avec joints à refaire (pas très nets), difficulté pour réglage eau chaude.

Excellent location although the taxi didn’t make it to the front door because of traffic restrictions. Room very comfortable. Excellent service from reception staff (Yoann).

Lovely old hotel. The bedroom walls were lined with padded material. Mahogany panels. Very much in keeping with the period of the hotel.
The bar was always empty, no obvious staff, so not very inviting. Maybe some nice background music, a bit of jazz?

Location brilliant, staff friendly, bathroom floor had not been cleaned, I had to wipe it clean on arrival, full of hairs,not ours, staff friendly,let down by cleaning

Reception staff are a credit to the Hotel. Polite and professional and nothing was too much trouble for them. Please give them a health pay rise.

The friendly atmosphere. The lovely room and the breakfast. Other local hotels would really have to be amazing to get anywhere close to L'opera... Young French man with an American accent on the desk pulled out all the stops. A credit to the Hotel... Merci beaucoup David and Caroline...

The location of the hotel is brilliant right at the centre of the centre. The only point to watch out is that the square is not accessible by Uber, so trying to book a Uber during the morning rush hour is impossible. For a 250 Euro per night hotel, I would expect that there should have at least a hair dryer, but the one in my room has gone missing. The cleanness of the room is also not up to the standard.
The design and style of the hotel I guess is either you love it or hate it. I personally don't like it at all and I suppose the original building was an old theatre, it was not really designed as a hotel e.g. no lift and only narrow spinal staircase to the room, which is not practical at all. The lobby of the hotel has all the small passages interlink different area and there is no clear sign, hence it is very easy to get lost in the hotel.

Location - as central as could be and yet very quiet. Easy to find. Helpful and professional staff.
