Good breakfast, lovely small balcony overlooking the mountains, friendly staff, close to West Station and walkable to Ost or could use free buses. Close to a fabulous restaurant serving traditional Swiss food…advise booking ahead.
Not much insulation between floors so have to hope you don’t have noisy people upstairs

The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly.
The bed is very uncomfortable, and the mattress sags in the middle. The building is old, and every morning around 7:30 I’m woken up by footsteps, creaking floors and the noise from the bathroom extractor fans upstairs. Once I wake up, I can’t get back to sleep.Breakfast is average. There is no coffee machine, only filter coffee with milk available.
