.L'emplacement est parfait. Le personnel est très aimable. Les chambres sont confortables. L'accès direct sur la plage est appréciable

Le petit déjeuner est rudimentaire. La pression de l'eau dans la salle de bain est trop faible.

Above and beyond customer service by Mauro and his team

Stunning location, beautiful lodges. Above and beyond service from Mauro and his team!!!! We accidentally left the painting in the lodge and Te came all the way to Pongwe and brought it back to us!!! Hands down, the best service we received in Zanzibar. Big thanks to Hawa for organising my birthday meal. Also, everyone must try a massage by Dora, she made me feel at easy and very relaxed.

Water pressure wasn’t good at all, there were a massive crack in the wall which you could see through. In general, rooms need a little renovation.

A secluded quiet oasis

The hotel is like a tucked away oasis, which lots of greenery right on the beach. We had the sea view lodge - you are literally on the beach, just meters away from the sea, you can look at it also from your bed. Since there are only few rooms, the place is very peaceful and quiet. We visited in the start of June and only few rooms were occupied, we had the pool and sunbeds almost all to ourselves. You have chairs on your little porch, as well as sunbeds, all behind a wood fence, with a security person at all times. The staff is super kind and helpful. For breakfast, they served a big variety of fruits, other things were fewer, but you could still get full. Prices in the restaurant a bit higher, compared to the restaurants around. The beach is good for swimming, no sharp objects. Walking on the beach is also safe, interesting to see the low tide. Not so many beach boys, Nungwi was worse.

The bathroom could use a renovation.

Close to the beach, friendly stuff, helped to arrange trip. Our room had two bathrooms (in one didn't work shower, but we had two separate toilets which was great for kids). Good restaurant (a-la carte). Hotel cats were crawling inside the hotel :-)

Slightly outdated accommodation. Water smelled in the shower. No free water available. Simple breakfast. A lot of travellers from Poland, Czechia or Slovak. Bed nets had holes but there were no insects anyway. The pool was quite deep (not good for kids).

Not recommended !!

The location is good. But there is little space at the beach front and not enough sun beds for the guests.

Our bathroom had mold and the water quality was extremly bad. The whole lodge smelled humid and the electricity did not work well. This place is not well maintained. The food was not good compared to any other place we ate on the island. The bed was too short and the pillows smelled as well humid.

The owner is nice and available for customers and his staffs Breakfast is very nice, not as much in the buffet but you actually have everything on the menu, which included Food is very nice even for lunch or evening Accommodation is amazing either pool or sea view (I’ve tested both) Staff is truly nice and welcoming

location is stunning, you step out of room and there is this amazing beach The best part was Staff. very smiling, welcoming and professional. Manager was really polite and nice. my friend had some health issues and everyone was so nice and took care of us a lot. I’m so thankful and I’ll recommend this accommodation to everyone & surely will be back soon…

It was a perfect trip, thank you all!

Everything was very well organized. Our room was nice and clean, next to a beautiful beach. People were super nice and helpful, focusing on the little details to make our stay even better. The food in the restaurant was also really good. We would definitely recommend this place!

Perfect location with bungalows right on the beach

Perfect location.

Don’t book half board. The breakfast was ok, but dinner was just sad. Only two dishes to choose from each day. One vegetarian and one with meat or seafood. The dishes were pretty much tasteless and uninspiring with very little sauce and meat/seafood. Plenty of rice though. The vegetarian options wasn’t any better.

A relaxing place with a family vibe

.I've been many times in zanzibar, in different areas. This is one of the best places I have ever stayed Clean, well maintained, very welcoming and friendly staff. I had the room that was facing the ocean, so it was so nice to sleep and wake up with the sound of the ocean. Although I was traveling alone, I felt very comfortable and well taken care, the manager and the staff were asking me every day how I feel and if I need anything. Breakfast was really good, with a good variety of food, lunch and dinner at the restaurant is affordable and food is tasty The beach is clean, and the ocean is really good for swimming. Not many beach boys in the area, although is very close to the village and the area is really lively.

Delightful setting

The location is superb with gorgeous waterfront experience, both the rooms and the restaurant. Lovely setting around a small pool also

I'll be back

I spent a week at Sea View Lodge. Long story short: The price-performance ratio is better than it is rated here and the friendliness of the staff and the service are great. The facility is very well maintained, the infrastructure is in need of renewal here and there, but quite okay. The rooms are kept very clean and the mosquito nets and linen were - contrary to other descriptions - in perfect condition. A nice hotel with a great staff, good cuisine and very nice location directly on the beach. If you are looking for peace and relaxation in a pleasant ambience away from and yet close to the hustle and bustle of Paje, you will find a nice hideaway here.

The fish pasta was a mix of fusilli and penne - but that's complaining on a high level :-)

The view was amazing. you can see the sunrise from room. The pool was also nice

Our room was expensive compared to the quality. It needs renovation. There were too many flies in the restaurant. My daughter found a fly in her meal. Once we showed that, they compensated by small cake. The restaurant menu was limited. The price of food was not worth the taste. There are better restaurant near the hotel but they do not allow outside food. They do not give water bottles in the room. Overall its not worth the price we paid (900 usd for four days)

Hotel has only 18 rooms so there are no crowds in the swimming pool or the beach. Nice view of the ocean from the bungalow. Hotel is close to shops and restaurants in the area. Loved the staff, everyone was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend to everyone who looks for relaxing time in Zanzibar.

The bathroom was a mess the shower head wasn’t fixed well and the water was flowing everywhere. The WC was wobbly and fixed in the floor., had many incidents of no water at the bathroom and had to inform the staff and wait for it.. the water heater wasn’t working properly..

Beautiful location. Closest to the beach, where you can access the shore and the beach. Very quite and relaxing atmosphere. Staff are super friendly. Restaurant has good view and serves good food. Loved the breakfast too!

No phone in the room, so for everything you gotta walk up to the reception. Not a big deal but good to have a phone in room. WiFi range was limited. Small pool.
