Good value-for-money budget hotel in a prime location. The reception was pleasant and helpful. The rooms/ en suites were clean and tidy. Honestly, far from the plushest hotel I have stayed in, but if you just need a clean room with a comfortable bed, decent wash facilities in an excellent location, this is for you. Also made friends with the cleaning lady (from the Dominican Republic). She was a ray of sunshine and incredibly helpful. Finally, the stairs - if you know the history of Amsterdam, you will appreciate why there are many narrow houses with steep and tight staircases. Hotel Pagi is a fine example of this.
