We really enjoyed our stay. It was in walking distance of shops and restaurants. The neighborhood was charming and centrally located.

We had a wonderful stay here. The apartment is right in (what we thought was) the most interesting and fun part of Milan, the local restaurants, bars, shops and the massive spectacle of the castle were fantastic. Local transport links are also really good with two close Metro stops.The apartment is as described in the listing - in a very beautiful courtyard block, but high up enough not to feel claustrophobic (it's third floor - there's a lift, which is tiny and felt a little rickety, but worked fine). It's small but beautifully and thoughtfully designed, with a very comfortable bed and surprisingly generous bathroom. The kitchen area is tiny but enough to prep a simple meal (fridge, microwave, kettle, hotplate) if you need to.Pietro was a very responsive and friendly host.One other tip - for vegetarians/vegans visiting Milan who want a delicious and creative dinner out, try Cactus on Via Varese.
