Situated in Edinburgh, this attractive condo for $728 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Welcome to our home! The apartment, which looks towards the Castle, consists of a lovely bright double aspect living room/dining area. Perhaps, even more famous in the modern day, is the fact that the front living room and bedroom windows look onto the rear windows of the Elephant House cafe/bar where J K Rowling tucked herself into a corner and wrote the beginnings of - yes, that’s right - Harry Potter! You will see from the photos attached here that the apartment also has 2 bedrooms; the main double bedroom faces Candlemaker Row itself and is furnished with a very comfortable double bed and ample furnishings. The second bedroom, although it contains a full sized very comfortable double bed, is a compact size (ask for more detail if that is important to you). There is a recently fitted modern kitchen, fully equipped with cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine/dryer. The modern bathroom has an over-bath shower and the floors throughout the whole apartment are maple hardwood. Enjoy your stay! Please Note: The flat is right in the centre of town which is great, location-wise, but tons of noise is to be expected. Guests will have access to the entire home! We are GuestReady, a property manager, and we want to ensure your stay will be as smooth and comfortable as possible. We are available 24/7 should you need any assistance during your stay. Kindly note that this is a personal home so please take good care of it as if it was your own. The Grassmarket - and the whole of the Old Town itself - is absolutely teaming with a wonderful choice of every kind of restaurant, pub and cafe - you will never be spoiled for choice. The shopping choice could not be more interesting either - in the Old Town itself or only about 10/12 minutes walk from the world famous Princes Street with its wonderful mix of shops, attractions, galleriesand museums. A wide choice of buses is within a couple of minutes walk from the apartment. AIRPORT LINK - runs from Waverley Bridge (beside train station) every 10 mins during daytime and 30 mins during night. Journey time 30 minutues. CAR PARKING - due to the central location of the apartment there is no private parking. However, around the corner are on-street pay and display parking meters. For longer term parking NCP car park is 10 minutes walk away. TRAIN Approx 10 minutes walk to Waverley Train Station and Edinburgh Tram line on Princes Street. BUS - approx 15 minutes walk to St Andrews Bus Station. Local bus service takes you to the many fascinating sites - download the App called 'Transport for Edinburgh' which an excellent guide to all different areas of the City Internet connection - Superfast fiber (100 Mbps) - Great for business travellers. Please note we do charge a £30 late check in fee between 10PM and 12AM and £50 between 12AM and 7AM. If you require additional cleans/ linens during your stay for a fee, please contact us. Also note that we charge £50 for each set of lost keys (security keys may cost more). For security purposes, there may be an additional cost to replace the locks. So, please keep your keys safe :) There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking in the property. If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.) we fully reserve the right to charge a £300 smoking fee, at minimum.Please also note we do not allow parties, large gatherings, loud noises, or outside guests. Should we receive sufficient evidence of such activity we reserve the right to cancel your stay (without refund) and may involve a security team to evict you. Any associated cost will be charged to you via your security deposit. Local authorities may also be present (if required).

Clean, comfortable, well-equipped apartment with great views and an excellent location in the Old Town, walking distance to all sorts of attractions. Pricey, but worth it.

We spent an hour standing outside the place in the rain trying to get the Guestready people to tell us where the key was. I uploaded all the proper information the day before. Both UK and French administrations insisted on having the documents a second time before they would tell me where the key was hidden. I would very much have appreciated not only better organization but also an earlier checkin, or a way to communicate with someone other than struggling with cconnectivity, wait times on the telephone and ineptitude with regard to the administration. It was appalling.

Close to tons of restaurants and pubs. Dual window in bedroom facing the street blocked out noise shockingly well. Very creaky floor as it’s an older property. Hard for friends who woke at different times and wanted to try to stay quiet.

Great flat in a brilliant location!

This flat is in a brilliant location in the old town, in easy reach of the castle and surrounding area as well as being a 15 minute walk from Waverley station. We had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed exploring the sites of Edinburgh, using it as a base.

El sitio en si es una maravilla: -Está en una localización perfecta -El piso da una sensación de ser moderno y agradable -Las vistas la cementerio son increibles El problema que hemos tenido es que el horno no funcionaba y no conseguir localizar a nadie que nos dijera si es que lo estabamos haciendo mal o no. otro problema que tenía era que la ventana de la cocina no se abre correctamente y no podia tener una ventilación mientras cocinabamos. Quitando esos puntos negativos el sitio es una maravilla que se lo recomendaria a todo el mundo, sobretodo si quieres estar cerca de los puntos de interes de Edimburgo.
