We checked in easily and found everything in order and ready for our stay. It was nice to have the access to a living room and full kitchen. I did my laundry before we came back home so that was all done and ready to just put away. I will definitely stay again.

This house was spacious, clean and we'll maintained. Located in a quiet neighborhood central to everything. It offered peace and quiet with no other people coming and going or strange noises in the night. Our host was very helpful and attentive to any needs. Which we had none. Highly recommended for the price and convenience.

The property is an older home that has been minimally updated, and is rustic as the description said. I liked the old floors and the exposed wood under the plaster. My only wish is that the property had a parking space that is not on the street.

Our original reservation was with the Rustic Roost for the fee of $65 per night. The host contacted us and said that there was a traveling nurse that was staying there long time. She offered us the Cottage by the College. We agreed, because she said it was the same price. After checking, we saw that the cottage by the college was listed at a cheaper price of $59 per night. We weren't refunded the difference. The Cottage by the College ended up being a small shack or outbuilding behind the Rustic Roost. When we arrived with our family of five, there were only 3 towels and 2 washcloths. There was no soap or bathtub stopper. We didn't notice this until around bedtime. We contacted the host, and she dropped things off by the door after we went to bed. This was frustrating because the first night, we weren't able to bath. Our entire experience was not pleasant or easy! I do not recommend this property!
