This is a difficult review to write. I've never written a bad review for a VRBO or other short term rental as we've always had good luck in our rentals in the past. I do feel a bit bad for the property owner because I think all of the issues we had were due to the management company. Here were a list of issues we discovered in the first few hours after checking in: - The unit was overall not very clean - A picture frame was broken and left in the chair in the living room - Multiple fake fingernails on the floor of the master bath - The steps and side of the hot tub were broken making it difficult to get in and out - The master bed was broken! How they were able to change the sheets without seeing this, I'll never know. The master bed was unable to be used on the first night which caused several in our party to sleep on couches. They did get this fixed the next day but we had to wonder if the sheets had even been changed? - When we tried to turn on the jacuzzi in the master tub some black stuff came out of one of the water spouts. That was pretty gross. Cleaned it up and tried again on day 3 and same thing happened again. Additionally, our group found the unit difficult to use overall. Typically in houses like this, there are instruction books lying around for how to use the stuff in the house. The oven and dishwasher were some brand we had never seen before and it was not obvious how to use either. The hot tub never got over 100 degrees. I tried to figure out how to make it work and still couldn't get it. Again, no instructions so no idea how to make a change. But when it's 5 degrees out, 100 degrees hot tub is not hot enough. It also said something about needing to have the filter cleaned, so no idea if it was being maintained properly or not. The ski in/ski out is somewhat misleading if you're not familiar with Breck. If your group is mostly adults or all bigger kids and older that can traverse 100+ yards of flat run without issues, then you can indeed ski in to the place. Unfortunately our youngest doesn't have poles and couldn't make the Snowflake run work so no luck there. Other reviews have mentioned this as well. The hill down to Snowflake chair is short but steep as well. Overall we had an okay time. The house is reasonably well appointed and in a good location depending on your group makeup. It was fine but for price we were expecting a bit better condition of the home.

Pretty good property, we had two families with four adults and three young kids. Location was very convenient - good access to Snowflake lift but a bus ride away to Beaver Run or the Main St, bus stop a 3 - 5 min walk. Bedroom set up ok - the bedroom at the bottom for the adults a little pokey compared to the master bedroom upstairs. Also garage floor could do with a sweep after each guest given its also the drying room with some people using it for cars. Notwithstanding the above, good value property and convenient location.

We really enjoyed the location of the rental. We rented our equipment from Charter Sports and were able to leave it there and walk to and from the rental each day. If you have your own equipment, the Snowflake Lift and Trail provided great access to the mountain and is basically ski in and out (across the street). The only downside was the size of the living room. We had 6 people and it could not accommodate all of us at once (knew that from the pictures beforehand)..

Very nice place and comfortable. Garage Key Code did not work We were not able to unlock hot tub 1st 2 days. Then was given different code that worked. However the Lock on hot tub needs to be replaced. We were not able to lock it The toilet in lower level is not working properly. Dishwasher needs instructions spelled out. Very difficult to operate Thank you Chuck
