My family enjoyed a pleasant stay at this comfortable, rustic villa. During our weeklong stay, the villa was a perfect home base for traveling throughout the stunning region of Tuscany. While at the villa, we booked a lovely private chef who taught a pasta class one day and cooked a wonderful meal for us on another. The owner, Angelo, who lives on the ground floor, was very accommodating if we needed anything, but we also had plenty of privacy during our stay. Would recommend!

About this villa rental

A villa with a pool nestled in the natural setting of its botanical garden, surrounded by the spectacular Balze del Valdarno.
At the gateway to Chianti, in the medieval village of Piantravigne, nestled in a splendid landscape among the Balze—the distinctive rock formations of the Valdarno—stands a prestigious 17th-century villa.
Fattoria Piantravigne retains its charm intact thanks to a conservative restoration that preserved much of the original material, such as the handmade terracotta floors and some of the wooden beams.

My family enjoyed a pleasant stay at this comfortable, rustic villa. During our weeklong stay, the villa was a perfect home base for traveling throughout the stunning region of Tuscany. While at the villa, we booked a lovely private chef who taught a pasta class one day and cooked a wonderful meal for us on another.
