From the moment we arrived at Podere La Doccia, we knew we had found a true slice of paradise in Civitella in Val di Chiana. Nestled among rolling vineyards and olive trees, this breathtaking stone farm stay effortlessly captures the magic of the "Dolce Vita."
The accommodations are the perfect blend of rustic elegance and modern comfort. Our room was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with excellent air conditioning and top-tier amenities. Stepping out into the lush, perfectly manicured gardens every morning felt like walking into a postcard.
The absolute standout feature is the spectacular swimming pool. Floating in the water while looking out over the panoramic views of the Tuscan hills was an unforgettable experience. The property also features wonderful extras like free bicycles to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside, a relaxing hot tub, and peaceful outdoor lounge areas.
Breakfast each morning was a culinary highlight. Served outside on a sun-drenched terrace, it featured a delicious, fresh buffet packed with traditional Italian specialties, warm pastries, fresh fruits, and delicious homemade cakes made from the estate's own products.
What truly elevates Podere La Doccia, however, is the hospitality. The owners and staff are incredibly warm, welcoming, and deeply professional. Their attentive service made us feel right at home from day one, and they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect (and they speak French, too!).
If you are looking for an authentic, peaceful, and luxurious getaway in the heart of Tuscany with an incredible price-to-quality ratio, look no further. We left a piece of our hearts here and cannot wait to return!

Allervriendelijkst personeel
Geen faciliteiten overdag/einde middag voor drankje/hapje (kon je wel speciaal vragen). Hadden we misschien wel tevoren kunnen weten.
Agriturismo heeft externe manager (zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam); de eigenaren zelf zijn er niet. Soms is dat wel extra leuk
