Located in Santa Fe, this lovely house for $123 per night is a great option for your next break. THIS HOME HAS A 29 NIGHT MINIMUM PER CITY REGULATIONS. Casa Dulce Vida is a charming 3-bedroom home, recently remodeled and is being furnished by its owner. Located on a quiet residential street (a mere 10 minutes’ drive from the Plaza), its ambiance and design reflect an eclectic style. The living room overlooks a spacious enclosed yard with a patio and large shade tree. It is complete with a SmartTV (easy streaming). Style is enhanced by the beautiful new wood-embossed tile floors in the living areas and carpets in the bedrooms. There is a separate dining room that can alternatively be used as an office or exercise room. The dining table extends to seating for eight. Currently it sits in a corner of the living room. The kitchen upgrades include new appliances and granite counter tops. It is fully equipped with all amenities and there is an adjacent dinette area with door to the back yard. There is additional bar seating facing the dinette or used for extra living room seating for guests. The laundry room is located off the kitchen. The king suite has an extremely comfortable new bed, en suite bath with walk-in shower and a large closet. From here you can easily enter the back yard. The second bedroom has a full bed and accesses a full hall bath. If you must work during your sojourn in Santa Fe, the third bedroom is currently set up as an office area and can be completely closed off for privacy. It also has a queen bed. The fully-enclosed back yard is spacious and features a flagstone patio under a tall shade tree - with dining table and chairs and a gas barbecue grill. This is a wonderful place to spend time throughout the year in New Mexico’s forever-sun. If you are bringing your dog, it's also a great place to let them run outside. Though in a residential neighborhood, Casa Dulce Vida is very conveniently located to two grocery stores, fast food choices, drug store, Starbucks, and more…all within a mile. The home features a 2-car garage and additional off-street parking. All amenities such as HDTV, washer and dryer, and fast WIFI are provided, as well as all linens and a fully equipped kitchen. Heat is forced air and has evaporative cooling. At this time we can only rent monthly (no weekly rentals).

My wife and I rented this home a few months in advance, anticipating an awful August in Arkansas (heat AND humidity). The so-called "heat dome" sat on top of the middle section of the nation, including Arkansas, for much of August. We we were right to escape. 1941 Thomas Avenue became our home for August and we just loved it. Three bedrooms and two baths work great for us, and for our friends and family who joined us during the month. No, the home isn't a block away from the Plaza. But, we were never more than 5-10 minutes away from anything in Santa Fe. The location is really very good and to stay next to the Plaza, the cost would have been doubled. We very much liked the home's location. We've never spent a full month away from home before but our experience was great! There's so much to do (and to eat!) in Santa Fe that I'm sure we'll be back. And we'd be very happy to rent 1941 Thomas Avenue again!

This home was great for working from home as well as having access to the Santa Fe area. Close to a couple of walking trails, restaurants and grocery stores. The neighbors were very friendly and neighborhood was quiet. The master bed was very comfortable. The house has been remodeled, however it needs some more renovations, ie new windows and screens, backyard attention, some additions to kitchen pots and pans to name a few. If you're looking for something high-end, this isn't it. If you're ok with a humble home with some decent comforts and access to the entire area, look no further.
