The location was very convenient to the center of town. The place is spacious, well-decorated and there were special touches such as candy and a bottle of mock-champagne. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable in this lovely home.

We booked this property in April 7, 2022 for 7 days from July 10 to July 17, 2022. We paid the full amount through Vrbo and received payment confirmation from Vrbo. We contacted the host Jan through Vrbo in April, June and early July to check our booking status, the host Jan replied to us to confirm our booking. He told us the entry password code would be sent to us one hour prior to check in time. But when we arrived on Edinburgh around 4:30pm on the scheduled day of July 10, we did not receive the entry instruction as he stated. So we called him. He told us to wait and he would call us back. A few minutes later, we received Vrbo message “Reservation was cancelled”. This last minute’s cancellation caused us extreme inconvenience. We had to rebook new reservations at two properties and had to pay much more money than we had originally budgeted for. We are a family with a child travelling from US to the UK. It was not only very difficult to find alternative place to stay in the last minute, but also very expensive. We ended up paying more than double for accommodations. Do not book with this host!
