After climbing three flights of stone steps we were delighted to find the most beautiful, spacious apartment, really close to the castle. It’s an old stone building with high ceilings and the flat is beautifully decorated with everything you need for a fantastic stay. It’s so close to everything including restaurants and shops. I Hope i get to stay here again!

Really pleased with the accommodation and felt it good value. Close enough to all . sites and amenities but in a quiet area, away from the crowds. Not having to buy things like washing up liquid, loo rolls, milk, tea and coffee, etc were a bonus. The property was easy to find and getting through the front door was hassle free. Public transport is about 100m away from the flat and is frequent

This place was wonderful. Beautifully decorated but still so comfortable. In a great location too, walkable to everything. Thank you for sharing.

Had an amazing time with clan. We were 5 adults staying in this flat and it was perfect. Very clean and comfortable. Extra touches as we checked in were really a nice touch (milk, butter, bread and fruits).
Communication Was easy and the host was very accommodating.
Would recommend 100%.

So nice and homey, yet nice and updated with all the amenities you need. Great location; very clean and close to restaurants & sites.
We loved the flat overall! The bread, butter, coffee, fruit & sweets were an extra plus!
Just an FYI: Would not recommend for anyone with physical limitations: My 80 year old Mom is quite spy, but the 3 sets of steps were a wee bit difficult.

To say the location is perfect is an understatement! So perfect to be able to walk everywhere! You are above a wine bar and across the road from a pub but this did not affect our stay at all. Facilities were great and beds comfortable! It is on the top floor so if you are not good with carrying luggage up several flights of stairs this place is not for you. We loved our time here and hope to be back one day!

This flat was the perfect place for myself, my husband and our teenage son for a short stay in March. There was plenty of space, lots of essentials included and even a few welcome items like milk and bread. The flat is beautifully decorated and it was in a great location to explore Edinburgh and within walking distance to lots of shops, restaurants, and a little grocery store. A couple things to note - the pub downstairs can be a bit noisy at night and the flat is up on the third floor with no lift - although these things weren't a problem for us. Highly recommend!!

Spotlessly clean property, with interesting art in many of the rooms. Great location, easy walk to haymarket Station, and many of Edinburgh's attractions. Underfloor heating in bathroom was a nice touch.

Centrally located, nears bars and restaurants, groceries, and an excellent bus service. The flat is beautifully decorated and we felt at home. The Christmas tree and decorations added to the festive season and the finishing touches, such as fresh roses and a few groceries, were extra special. Highly recommended. It did take a little while to find as the streets don’t quite match Apple Maps but Andy’s contact put us right quickly.

Apartment amazing our only small criticism was there was no lighting on the stairs up to the flat and they were uneven steps so it was a little hairy but apart from that everything was perfect

Lovely flat with all the amenities needed. Great location with a tram station 1 minute away, but walking to the castle, Princes Street etc. is very doable. Clean and well furnished. A little bit of noisy from the street, but it is a city and we were fine with it.

This was a great flat in an ideal location for the city centre and main attractions. We (my husband and I, our children 12 and 14) had a lovely stay here to celebrate his birthday and the New Year. Really tasteful and we'll equipped. Edinburgh was a fabulous place to visit at this time of year. We particularly enjoyed: our meal at Wildfire, my morning run down past Simon's seat and Holyrood, the Real Mary King's Close tour and the Beach cafe and views at Portobello. Despite some bad (snobbish?) press, we also enjoyed the Christmas market (rides and food), watching the torchlight parade and the general buzz around the Hogmanay festivities. We spent New Year's Eve at a fabulous ceilidh at Lauriston Hall and then saw the fireworks over the castle. A wonderful way to see in 2020!

Wonderful place to stay
My family( my husband and two teenagers) and stayed in this flat for three nights while visiting Edinburgh. The flat was a short taxi ride from the downtown trains station, although we found out Haymarket was a five minute walk from the flat. We loved the proximity of the flat to Downtown , pubs and restaurants and the Castle. We walked everywhere.
We were also pleasantly surprised how quiet the flat was, given there are three pubs within 400 feet on the flat. All great places I must say.
The only issue with this flat for some people may be the steps. There are several flights, but the climb is worth it. We just thought of it as extra exercise.
The property owner was great to deal with and provided us with all types of information about the area! Nice touch.
We had a lovely stay in this flat and hope to return to Scotland in the future!

This beautiful apartment is just stunning! We felt comfortable from the second we walked in.
You can get to anywhere in Edimbourg very quickly. And the restaurants and boutique in the neighbourhood... just great! I highly recommend this apartment: the best I have seen in my last 6 years of travelling.
I would come back to Edimbourg anytime!

What an amazing place to stay! Visiting Scotland is incredible but having someplace as well laid out, tastefully decorated and conveniently located to wonder restaurants, authentic pubs, and everything that you'd like to see while visiting Edinburgh.

The apartment is beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated . It is extremely comfortable and feels very cosy and relaxing. The artwork is lovely and the fringe posters add a very nice touch . However we did have a few snagging issues that slightly dampened our over all very positive impression of this lovely apartment. The shower thermostat was not working properly and the water was barely lukewarm - the pressure really was very low so it only dribbled out . We also felt that there needed to be a book with instructions and guidance as to what to do if, for example , as happened on our last night at 4 am - the CO2 alarm went off . We had to hunt for it first - not knowing what it was, and then remove batteries to prevent the whole block from being woken up ! The internet was very intermittent - and kept cutting out which was surprising and frustrating - and the Tivo box was inaccessible - so we weren't sure if we would have been able to record a programme that we missed when we were out . ( Again instructions would be useful.
Sorry to sound a bit negative , but when you are paying quite a lot for 4 nights you could do without these problems - the shower especially. Having said all that we really liked the flat and loved the area ( which we already know very well ) and would certainly consider going back if these issues were resolved.
