Situated in Ohio, this lovely cabin for $376 per night is a great choice for your next trip. YOU MUST BE 30 YEARS OF AGE TO RENT THIS PROPERTY. This open cabin is lovingly built to be a home away from home. It will hold 8 guests. The bedroom on the main floor is a King size bed, the bedroom in the finished basement is a Queen size bed, and the Loft has two Full size beds. The large kitchen is stocked with all the comforts of home and the family room is two stories, open to the loft and is the first sitting area with a TV. The finished basement has a pool table and an additional sitting area with TV. There is a large outdoor fire pit for beautiful nights out under the stars or roasting marsh mellows for your smores. The hot tub is located on the lower deck of the basement with views of the surrounding woods. Explore the 25 acres on trails that take you to the long 60ft tall rock wall streams, bridges and more. Bring your hiking boots...It is all hills! This is a Pet Free and Smoke Free Cabin. We have cameras facing the driveways for security purposes. **Remember this cabin is in the woods. Wifi is not super strong. Streaming is a "maybe". ** Certificate #00382 FOUR WHEEL DRIVE NEEDED IN THE WINTER SNOW. THE ROADS TO GET TO THE CABIN ARE HILLY AND NARROW.

Very nice place. Relaxing and beautiful view while the snow was falling. The property manager communicated well. She even text the day in of checkin to give us heads up about the road conditions. Overall enjoyed the getaway and would definitely book again.

Beautiful place to spend a weekend away with friends! Very spacious with great views. The cabin was very clean and you couldn’t tell someone had been there prior to us. The property manager was very kind and communication was great. The only complaint is we didn’t stay longer.

We had a wonderful time! Plenty of room for our family gathering, very clean, kitchen has everything you need! Would definitely stay here again! The owner was great with communication. The only con, if there would be one, is that when people are walking around upstairs you can definitely hear every step on the level below. That was a bit annoying early in the morning but pretty typical for cabins like this. Again, otherwise, it’s a great place!

What an awesome weekend spent at this property! The house is very nice and as described. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking and the fire pit was so relaxing and fun. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

We couldn't be happier with our stay! The cabin was beautiful, clean and had plenty of room. The hot tub was fantastic we spent a lot of time in it. Believe me you won't be disappointed in any way with this amazing cabin.

My husband and our adult children and spouse(s) stayed for a weekend to celebrate my 60th birthday. The location was perfect. We had a nice bonfire, cooked a nice dinner and there was plenty of space The kitchen had sufficient dishware, cooking utensils, and servingware for us to enjoy a complete meal. Lots of kitchen space and lots of living room space to enjoy ourselves afterwards. Mechele also supplied several cozy blankets so everybody could have their own to cuddle up with. It was a delightful weekend. The beds were very comfortable. Each floor had their own bathroom so that was nice. It was a very enjoyable weekend for all of us. Thank you for letting us stay at your property!! Hope we can come again.

This cabin was everything we could ask for, and then some! It’s Beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The kitchen is fully stocked, and there’s so many extra blankets (I need details to have some at home!!) and towels in each bathroom. We went horseback riding, zip lining, and hiking in the area. It was a wonderful adult trip, and I will definitely stay here again if we come back with a group of people.

Beautiful setting surrounded by woods, open floor plan but still plenty of privacy if needed, get aways on the decks, lower rooms and hot tub. Full bath on every floor. 6min from the best hiking you want to experience at Cantwell Cliffs , property owners were wonderful, highly recommend this stay

Cabin had exactly what we needed for 5 adults. Spacious, clean and the three floors gave each bedroom their own full bathroom. Pool table and hot tub were so nice to have after a day of exploring. The property had a hiking path as well. The theater style seating was an unexpected surprise and made movie watching enjoyable. Large dining table was great for game playing. Outdoor seating provided a nice spot to enjoy a cup of coffee while surrounded by the woods. Definitely would stay here again.

We all had the best time and this place was beautiful! Love having separate spaces so we can all have some alone time when needed and nap or soak in the hot tub while others hung out on the deck or by the fire or we just cozied up on the couch with the fuzzy blankets! Thanks for making this, so far the best trip! We will see what next year brings

This was the best stocked cabin I’ve ever stayed in. Cozy blankets, pillows, comfy couches. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, utensils, appliances, etc. It was so clean and cute! We absolutely loved staying there. Games and puzzles for kids. The view and fire pit was great! Hot tub was relaxing! Communication with Mechele was easy and she was quick to respond! We loved everything about Black Bear!

Very new cabin, very clean and all the comforts of home. We visit the area every summer and make a point to try new places to stay, this cabin may change that as it would be hard to find any place as nice. Slept 6 of us comfortably and had plenty to do on the one rainy day of our trip. Nice firepit and the Weber grill made for some great outdoor cooking.

We were able to hike in Hocking Hills during the day and come back to the house to cook in the wonderful kitchen, roast s’mores by the fire outside, and enjoy some family time in the hot tub and playing pool.

This is a beautiful house in a great setting close to all the areas of local interest and fun. However the open loft bedroom (2 full beds) did make it awkward for unrelated couples to sleep in the same room. Unfortunately there wasn't a pull out sofa option. (the sofa's and recliners were very comfortable, but not perfect for sleeping).

I booked this cabin for a girls weekend. The cabin is in the perfect location, not far from everything but enough away that it was quiet and peaceful. The cabin is just as it is pictured however the pictures doesn't even do it justice. It is a beautiful cabin and very clean! We had Hocking hills travel massage therapists come to our cabin to do massages which were done outside on the deck and it was so beyond perfect and peaceful. It was a relaxing weekend us girls needed! The owner of the cabin was so generous from the moment the cabin was booked to the end our stay, very kind with responses and helpful. They responded in a timely manner when I messaged them asking questions. We all agreed we would love to come back and stay again in the future!

The cabin was everything we had hoped for! Great communication, decently secluded/private area. Fire pit and hot tub were amazing. Just don’t forget to bring fire wood. Only about 20 minutes from Old Man’s Cave and other attractions! Overall we were very pleased with our stay!

The pictures of the property are good in quality, but the actual experience is cozy, hospitable, exciting, relaxing, clean, and beyond your expectations for the stay. The property owner is generous and helpful with any question you may have. The pool table is better quality than most vacation places. Fire ring was built with safety in mind. You will not go wrong with this venue.

This place is EXACTLY what was advertised and the pictures don’t even do it justice! The property is amazing and secluded, but not too secluded in case of an emergency. The fire pit area is amazing. Every bed is comfortable, the basement and hot tub is great, ever shower is nice and the living room furniture is comfortable. I seriously cannot think of anything it needs besides maybe a handrail for the stairs to the cabin. Overall, it’s amazing, the owner was super helpful and available from start to finish and I will DEFINITELY be back. Thank you!!!

The cabin was everything I expected and MORE!!! Mechele’s communication was outstanding. She had great suggestions on where to go and what to do, she was super helpful! Every detail in the cabin was thought out perfectly - all the way down to the ice cream scooper and super soft blankets in every room. This was the best cabin and I would highly recommend it. Black Bear cabin is beautiful.l and we will definitely be back.

I booked this Cabin for a short, quick, 60th birthday getaway for my girlfriends of 45+ years. There were 6 of us. The Cabin is absolutely beautiful, so clean and comfortable. Everything is new looking and the decor is so perfect for the hiking setting that we were looking for. We had cool weather and definitely got use out of the fire pit. The hot tub was so relaxing after an afternoon of hiking. The Owner, Mechele, was very nice and always got right back to me quickly. No problems at all. I highly recommend Black Bear Cabin!

We stayed at this location for our friends 30th bday getaway weekend. The property was amazing inside and out. I would definitely stay here again! Loved all the amenities it offered and the location was pedect for us. Wish we would have stayed longer than just 2 nights!
