Excellent hotel in a perfect location. Easy to get to from Amsterdam Centraal by taking the #2 or #17 tram. Lots of restaurants just around the corner. Very friendly staff. The room is clean and comfortable. The canal view was perfect.

Everything was wonderful - staff, room, air con, location. We had a canal-facing room, and the view was incredible. Loved the historical piece of this building. We received a complimentary breakfast for the first day of our stay, and we so appreciated that! The breakfast was our best in Amsterdam. Unfortunately, it was too expensive to have breakfast there on the remaining days. Also, the first night of our stay may have been a kind of celebration because people were very loud in the streets and on the canal for most of the night. That loudness did not happen on the rest of our nights there.
We would definitely recommend to friends!

Lovely attention to detail. I'd made a special request and this was fulfilled and some with a lovely little note. Made the trip really special. Breakfast was delicious too. Pity we were dashing out each morning and didn't have time to enjoy it other days.

Hotel was conveniently located. Walking distance to Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museums. Enjoyed the complementary breakfast they gave us the first day, as well as the lovely coffee lounge. Robert, the maintenance person was very helpful when we needed a luggage rack and to remove a slight musty smell from the damp weather.
