Great place, great staff!

Unfortunately, we booked our stay during a time of renovation so we didn't have access to the pool but the staff and the room were great. I chose the hotel because of easy access to the beach and Coligny Plaza. The pool was closed so there was no communal meeting place if you wanted to hang out outside of the room. Sidenote - there wasn't a microwave for reheating takeout.

Staff was amazing! Outdoor activity areas are being renovated so that was disappointing and very loud in the morning. The bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable. Hopefully they will be replacing those soon.

I have stayed at this property many times over the years, and I was absolutely shocked at the condition during my stay. Not only was there no information whatsoever on the website when booking about massive renovations going on, the pool being closed and the tiki bar being closed, the cost remained the same. There was construction going on everywhere, the price of the hotel was just as expensive as if all of the amenities were still available. The staff “graciously” upgraded me to an oceanfront room, but that oceanfront room was nothing but a big construction site. To charge customers over $250 a night for the condition of these rooms is a disgrace.
When this property was owned by Holiday Inn, I never encountered such horrible conditions. The rooms were dirty, the walls were paper thin, and I could hear the people next-door going to the bathroom. All night long the ice machine in the hallway, echoed to where you could not even sleep, there was construction dust everywhere and the property was definitely infested with something.
The front desk staff when checking out was beyond rude and I doubt I will ever be back. I have stayed at this property for over 25+ years and management should be ashamed of the conditions they allow their guests to stay in. I would rather stay at the Motel 6 or red roof Inn down the street next time.

It was unfortunate that the construction limited the experience. The beds were not that comfy, kind of lumpy. Hopefully after the construction is finished it will be a 5 star review. The room with the bunk-beds was a nice touch, good for families.

We stayed one night and everything was nice. Location was perfect being on the beach and near all the restaurants and shops. We’d definitely come back.

Nice hotel. It will be even better once the Tiki Bar and Pool are completed

Booked 1 night at this particular hotel based on the location, reviews, and specifics to include the pictures of the resort. Little to say, the resort was nothing like I anticipated or expected when booking the reservation. My husband and I drove over an hour, out of our initial way, for this resort based on the details of the hotel. The 1st issue was it was under construction so the “ocean view” was nothing more than heavy equipment and jackhammering at 7 am the next next morning. All I wanted was to take a hot bath once we arrived, but nope! There were no rooms with tubs, only stand up showers. They advertised renovated rooms, but there is still serious repairs needed such as the sliding doors to the smallest balcony ever, was leaking so there was black mold all around the doors and curtains along with blood stains on the actual curtains themselves. I had a zoom call at 8 am, the next morning, and specifically asked the agent on duty, when I checked in, if there would be construction going on then and was told absolutely NOT, but guess what, I woke up to the jackhammering so my ZOOM call was absolutely embarrassing. When these issues were brought up the agent on duty, she had no care or empathy of the dissatisfaction of disappointment. She offered 2 free breakfast coupons and lunch coupons, which was irrelevant to the misleading information about the resort, and stated a manager would contact me, but again, never heard from anyone.

We were not told the pool / Tiki Bar were under construction! That is what we go for! That was very disappointing! Kinda ruined our 3 night stay! We are senior citizens and can’t make this trip more than 3 times a year, but always stay at the beach house for the last 50 years! We should be honorary members, instead of keeping us left out of the know! Nancy and Tim Wood

Hotel was clean, in spite of lots of sand! Staff was mopping hallway when we arrived. Bathroom had a bit of mildew, but shower was hot and had decent pressure. Room was clean. Overall, a bit noisy with noise from other guests and construction. But worth it to be right on the beach.

Nice comfortable room, good location
Pleasant, friendly staff
One downside was the strong oil smell of elevators and elevator lobby area

For the money spent, we had a view of roof venting, by the elevator with all conversations audible and loud ice machine. Roims were cute. Definitely not worth money paid.

The Beach House Property is convenient to the beach and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. However, they were undergoing exterior renovations which could be loud at times. We went during the winter with 30 degree temperatures in the evenings. We were given a top floor room however upon entering we heard very loud mechanical type noises. We thought it was the renovations but when we returned to our room that night the noise was actually worse. It was late in the evening and we were very tired, so we suffered through the night to sleep with these loud clanking noises. While they did offer us a new room the next day, it was obvious they were aware that it was a heating pump issue. Their mode of operation is to just put people in these rooms anyway and if they complain, offer a room change or free breakfast instead of fixing the issue.
Another noticeable issue was that the service employees use the main elevators to transport large carts of dirty towels and sheets as well as full mattresses. There was one elevator ride where an elderly couple was dressed to the nines to go out but the employee pushed a dirty cart into the elevator squeezing everybody in. Maybe add some service elevators for employees as part of your renovations and please fix the heating pump for future winter guests.

The room was very outdated carpet was filthy and had rips in it. They charge you 80$ a day for convenience of pool and tiki bar but fail to tell you this along with about 7$ more for fees to feed the community and resort fees. The restaurant was way over priced at 15$ for 6 grilled shrimp and 12$ for a turkey sandwich with one very small price of meat. The front desk was very rude. Due to construction you had to go around the building to get to the beach. I was traveling with my two and one year old grand babies and were woke up to a fire alarm at 4 am where we had to evacuate for almost an hour until we could return to room. Then at around 7 am the fire alarm went off again and did not stop. So we left early. This hotel is Way over priced and not worth the money at all! Best experience was the beach even though it was to cold to get in. And the bartender and host in the restaurant were very nice and informative on the hotel and area. Will NEVER stay here again 400$ for two horrible nights

You can walk to the beach right out of the hotel. The staff went over and above to make our stay great. Even though they are doing construction outside, it didn't affect our stay. Highly recommended.

The property had some construction going on outside but it was pretty cold while we were there so it wasn’t a big deal for us. It’s right on the beach and across the road from shopping and dining. The staff were friendly and the restaurant and bar were convenient and easy. Overall a great place to stay

Tiki bar and outdoor area was under construction. limited what we could do at the hotel.

It was completely not a good experience at all as the main attraction of this resort was the area with amenities in front of the ocean which was completely blocked because of construction. We have only told after booking that Tiki hut and swimming pool is under renovation but that area was completely blocked and so it was just a stay for us without any single amenity. It was a bad experience and we should get full refund

Very comfortable room, soft bed, crisp, clean linens. Fluffy towels, huge bathroom. Very clean resort. The housekeepers were constantly working. The restaurant was very good. Brandon was our server. He gave special attention to our party. This place is right on the beach, next to a beautiful park. The nicest market place is a 4 minute walk. There is a grocery store and some cute boutiques and novelty shops.

We had reserved a partial ocean view room, which was okay but the window didn’t even open and there was no little balcony. So we could not enjoy the sounds of the waves or anything. We were very disappointed. And the pool and tiki area were closed for remodeling

This beachfront hotel is in a great location and in walking distance to restaurants and shops. Portions of it are currently being remodeled, so be aware of that and possible inconveniences related to the construction. The building is older and has some poor design issues such as having the loud ice machines in the hallways, rather than a separate room. Overall, it was a nice stay and I would stay here again.

Photos looked nice but they do not translate well to property as the remodel has not aged well. Remodeling the whole pool area fenced off would be nice to disclose before booking or offer at check in or maybe even discount rooms. Paid alot for beach front and looked mostly at orange construction fences and listened to leaf blowers all morning. Has potential but next 6 months stay away

Undergoing construction, noisy, you could hear other rooms, and people closing doors and talking in the hallway. No peace and quiet. Pictures showed and awesome place, not true
