This lodge was nicer than some of the others I have stayed at the National Parks. It was clean and staff was great. The view from our lodge was really nice being so close to the Grand Canyon. I highly recommend this lodge. The only drawback is parking. It’s survival of the fittest to find a good spot or you have to shuttle or walk a mile back to your room. Go on a weekday to get a better parking spot and just don’t leave your parking spot, ever! I hope this helps. Great place, terrible parking. Unless you find a great spot close to your room.

Rooms were very convenient, need to check in with El Toro if you’re in Kacina. Limited parking. Excellent way to start your trailhead down to the Colorado river from the south rim. Very reasonable food and good food choices.
