The Kimpton never disappoints. Our room was spotless and the service at Bargello was excellent. Valet greets us with a warm smile every time.

This is one of our favorite hotels in the US

From the traffic noise outside to the constant thumping every morning from the cleaning crew (constant and every morning), to the lack of blackout curtains, broken bathroom fans, and the inability to charge things to your room (restaurants, spa, etc.), there is simply no need to pay these prices. The experience is Econolodge (which I’m fine with) but the prices are Waldorf. Just get a cheaper hotel and spend the extra on local Asheville experiences.

This was the best hotel experience I've ever had. The staff are spectacular; would definitely stay here again.

Would definitely stay here again. Very upscale at a reasonable price. Front desk gave us several restaurant options within walking distance. We chose Tupelo and liked that vibe and atmosphere. Breakfast at the hotel was delish! (see pics)

We loved our stay! This hotel is VERY dog friendly!. We had our little pooch with us so we really enjoyed the fact that they welcomed him with open arms. Bed was very comfy. We enjoyed the bar with live music both nights. Near to everything in downtown. Very walkable location.

Great place to stay right in the downtown area. Very friendly staff. If I have any “complaints” it’s 2 things. And it’s not really a complaint more of a suggestion. First, a small microwave might be nice. I know I had leftovers that would’ve been better warmed up. Second, this hotel is super pet friendly which I love. Having said that, it might be nice to have a designated bathroom spot available in hotel property. Having to cross a busy street to take my dog to the bathroom was a little inconvenient. But overall, it’s a great place and I’d definitely stay there again.

Oh, what positive can’t I give about this hotel? The room was large and quiet, in an intimate setting with high end finishes. I’ve stayed in many Four Seasons, and this hotel was on par with them. The location can’t be beat; the robe was soft and made of fluffy material; the restaurant was incredible; the morning and afternoon treats for guests were a wonderful and decadent surprise; the staff was lovely and so kind to our kids. We’ve stayed in several hotels in Asheville and will only return to this one. Thank you for a great trip!

The customer service was amazing. The valet attendants were fast and curteous. The front desk staff went above and beyond during our entire stay and even after. I messaged back that we had left a phone charger in our room. They retrieved it and held it at the desk for another guest to pick up for us. I would recommend this property and their staff 100 times over.

The Arras property was best in class in every way. Beautiful hotel and very comfortable. The staff was excellent, always looking for ways to make your experience a good one.
We will stay again! You should try this one!

I like how walkable the property was and how awesome the staff was. However, some minor issues came up for us. Our hotel room’s bathroom had urine spots on the toilet seat, how tv didn’t work, and it was hard finding a parking spot so you had to do valet. Overall the bedroom and was great but some minor things dented our score.

The service was amazing and the workers were very helpful and friendly. There was only one person who was rude and it was the third shift front desk employee, we called because we had asked for more pillows earlier and were asking about the eta and she gave us an attitude because we didn’t order them from her. Other than that one mishap I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone.

We will definitely be staying here again the staff were amazing and it was a very relaxing comfortable stay. And they even go out of there way to make sure your dog is comfortable and has everything it may need during its stay.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was pleasant. It was hard to adjust the thermostat and there was a problem with the hot water. The staff allowed a late check out but they didnt tell me that the room key wood stop working before my time was expired.

Thoroughly enjoyed our home-away-from home at Kimpton Hotel Arras. Knowledgable, friendly staff providing great recommendations for additional sightseeing, restaurants, and breweries.
Centrally located to our main purpose: craft breweries and the Biltmore.
Only down side: the bathroom faucets were just in a weird location with the raised sink bowl.

It was within walking distance to The Orange Peel. The bed was the best I've ever had at a hotel. The blackout curtains blocked the light really well! No noise from neighbors. Would love to stay here again!

The hotel is downtown Asheville near several good restaurants and local shopping. Parking is valet, very efficient and I think it’s $36/night.
We had a 2 queen Mountain View room. Spacious, comfortable and very clean. KUDDOS to housekeeping staff. They were terrific. The hotel has a restaurant and bar, spa and fitness center.
Good water pressure, pretty decent toiletries and comfy beds/pillows and nice linens.
Pet friendly, no fee.
Very ni e property.

From the moment we arrived, we felt invited. The greeting staff were professional, friendly and very helpful. The bar staff are a delight! We even worked with Matt S. as our bartender, then later that evening as our server at Bargello. The hotel is pet friendly, warm and very inviting. Located in DT Ashville, everything you need is within walking distance. I would recommend the Kimpton Arras anytime. Thank you all for a wonderful trip to be remembered.

I really loved this hotel except for the lack of sound proofing in the rooms. The staff was amazing! I was genuinely impressed by the level of customer service and kindness. The hotel is beautiful as well, but I could hear literally every word spoken by the guests in the room next to mine. We might as well have been sharing one room.

We arrived on 10/5 and checked out on 10/11. Nice place but issues with drainage in the shower, somehow missed house keeping one day and the pillows need replacing.
Being 2 blocks from the fire department, better insulated windows would cut down on the sirens.
On the up side, Even at the valet stand is a top flight employee with great people skills.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The location could not have been better. It is right in the heart of downtown and you can walk in any direction and hit many, many cool shops and eateries. You don't need to drive anywhere. The art museum is across the street and so is the Chocolate Lounge! There is a "town square" right in front of the hotel and they had a street fair there our last day. Staff was great--helpful and friendly. Room was nice. Servers in the restaurant were great. Room service was limited but available and didn't take long. We were on the 9th floor and had a great view. There is free coffee in the morning and free wine and beer in the late evening for happy hour. We had a great time just hanging out at the hotel and walking around downtown. There is so much to see and do!
