The condo was clean and comfortable inside. But, the description of this property is deliberately misleading. I don’t know how it got so many good reviews. The description says, “trains go by the complex,” however, this did not prepare me for four train tracks running past this complex and the I-15. The sound of squealing brakes and highway noise kept us up all night. We were awoken by a fire alarm set off by a resident smoking in the building on day 1 and by a violent argument outside the window on day 3. Online reviews from residents tell you about the large homeless population nearby, lack of maintenance, and deafening noise in the apartments. When I emailed the manager, she did respond initially and promptly fixed a problem we had with the kitchen sink, but she dismissed my alarm at the misleading statements in the description and didn’t help with my other concerns, including my request to have someone come look at the toilets. I had to tell my kids not to flush at night because the pipes shriek so loudly every time the water is turned on that it will wake the entire condo. Despite strictly following the posted rules for managing the toilets, we had to plunge one 5-6 times during our 3-day stay. The manager stopped responding to my emails. The halls reeked of marijuana smoke the entire time. The description says it’s a 15-minute walk from the convention center. Google says it’s a 25-minute walk from the convention center. That walk is not safe.

The property manager was great at communication. Barb sent me pictures of the spice cabinet which was super helpful. While the location seemed good in relation to the convention center it was literally the other side of the train tracks. There were quite a few homeless camps on the 4-5 block walk. The Condo was a lot of steps from the car and loading and unloading the car was a challenge. Bring earplugs... This condo is within a block from UTRAX, Train tracks and the freeway. Although with the windows closed, the noise wasn't horrible, sitting on the patio was a challenge to have a conversation. Overall, it was clean, well stocked with spices, utensils, dishes, pots and pans, and acceptable.

My partner and I stayed at this property with our two dogs last weekend, after driving across several states to attend a music festival in SLC. The place is clean and well-equipped (shampoo/conditioner, towels, condiments, etc) and was perfectly located for the festival. I’m not sure much else is walkable from the area but it also seemed like an up and coming neighborhood. The hosts were communicative and it’s obvious that they’re pros.

So full disclosure I am used to living in the Mountains not in the city. I was working a trade show at the Salt Palace and this unit was very close ( long walk ) which i liked a lot. However it was literally on the other side of the tracks. The train was right there and sometimes loud and the HWY is right out the sliding glass window. The unit was tight and I was impressed by how little noise there was but you could still hear it. The neighborhood was sketchy. My female employee stated she would not feel comfortable walking back to the unit by herself at night . Folks living in the complex with dogs don’t clean up after them, there was poo in any spot that had grass. But i can tell this area is on the way to being gentrified it just hasn’t got there yet . Was a great location for what i had to do at an affordable price. The unit was very clean and the beds were comfortable. If you were a business traveler or ski bum like me who wants to be close to downtown this is a great. I wouldn’t bring my family , but in the guest book many folks did and loved the stay .

Met all of our needs for sure. There were a few things that needed attention and neighborhood is rough, but overall a nice haven to return to at the end of the day.

Nice and clean condo. Convenient access to downtown Utah. The only improvement I would suggest is to replace the master bed. It was uncomfortable and the frame is very shaky. It made a lot of noise anytime someone in the bed rolled over.

Close to restaurants, shops, ski rental places, fun coffee spots. Having the 3 bedrooms made it nice for our 2 adult sons.

Enjoyed our stay for the holiday. This unit was near our sons apartment and allowed us to be able to walk to many restaurants. The homeless folks were sad to see but not an interference. The hosts were very helpful at checkin!

Owner was very responsive. It was a good stay. The train yard is quite noisy and a little unnerving. Couches could use some upgrading and a table or two in living area would be welcome. All linens, towels and very nice.

We really enjoyed this location on the 1st floor near the pool. Everything was as advertised and close to the parking lot. I appreciated the brightness of the property and it had everything we needed. The owner was nice and management was prompt to answer any questions. We would recommend it for the pool, price, and proximity to the public transportation that takes you into downtown/airport.

Very convenient and a nice place. Train and freeway noise took a few nights to get use to but overall a great stay. We stayed for a month and the owners were very responsive and took care of minor things a couple of times as they arose because we are both wheelchair bound .

I was traveling with 5 friends to spend a few days skiing Brighton and Snowbird. Check-in and communication with the management property was great. The unit itself had everything we needed - two bathrooms, kitchen stocked with what we needed to cook a basic meal at home. The quality of the appliances and some of the finishes in the condo were pretty fairly worn, but everything would be a easy cosmetic upgrade for the property ownership. Location of the condo was perfect for us - we were six adult men and able to walk to the Red Iguana one of the nights. Hot tub was fantastic. Nearby train tracks was the source of a little bit of noise, but it was not bad at all since the trains did not toot their horns. I would definitely stay here again.

The neighborhood was in the perfect spot for us to access downtown, the Rice-Eccles stadium, and anything else we wanted -- even enjoyed the fantastic Red Iguana Mexican food within a short walk. Property manager was very responsive and communicative.

GREAT condo, very comfortable for the four of us who shared it. We specifically chose this condo because it said "ADA certified" but we should have checked to see what this meant for parking as well. All parking was a distance from the actual condo. If our handicapped person had a wheelchair it would not have been such a big deal but as they were walking with a cane it was a bit far. Everything was great, Merina checked us in right when we arrived and gave us some instructions. We were able to cook breakfast each morning before our convention inside the condo and that was a huge help. Thank you for everything.
