This is not an upmarket hotel but very comfortable and clean. A bonus having microwave and cooking facilities available

It was fine. Room a bit small and no frills. But it was just for a night.

Staff was very helpful.

I didn't like that there were no "black out" curtains. Especially when you come from Nevada and the nights in Anchorage is pretty well lit throughout the nights.

Last minute booking late in the evening. Abu at the property was amazing. Got last room.

Itâs a little overpriced

Very nice and convenient

The good and average: the staff was nice, the room and hallways were clean but stained, the room had minor repair issues.
The bad: horrible parking (limited to two small lots and on the street if those were full), not the best area of downtown Anchorage, one can only enter the building through the front door, not the door near the parking, and the breakfast provided was horrible: coffee and stale, plastic wrapped muffins. The room: it never cooled down even with the a/c on the entire length of the stay, flatware for the kitchen area had to be requested from the desk (but the clerks didnât inform of that at checkin), there were no charge ports for phones or other devices and the available but limited wall outlets were not conveniently located.
Overpriced for what was offered.

First off nothing on line regarding the pool was closed. The parking lot was terrible very icy. the fact it looked like it was never plowed. You had to walk on the side of the building where there was snow, also where people walked there dogs, and didnât pick it up. Staff was nice probably would not stay there in Winter.

Amazing two night stay. The GM is wonderful with amazing team of employees. Hotel and our room was very clean and inviting. The security cameras for the parking lot and all doors inside and out was excellent.

The property was great. It was the staff that made it ok, not great. I was asked what my room jumber was after I checked outband waited in the lobby. The lady was suspicious because I look homeless. Thanks for asduming.

Itâs definitely a very basic absolutely no frills. Broken bathroom fan. Only a summer weight, one layer bedsheets with no extra blankets for Alaska winter. No rug or carpet. Smells of smoke. But the staff were all pretty friendly and nice.

We booked online and then when we got there they said we didnt have a room, but they did find one, uh? No ice machine, no drinking glasses. We asked for ice and was given an ice cube tray out of refrig in the office. No glasses - so they gave us a tumbler, obviously from their kitchen. Floors were stained.

The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was recently remodeled and the bed was really comfortable. The location is pretty close, within 1 mile or less, to all the downtown restaurants. The free breakfast is just coffee, instant oatmeal and granola bars. You can walk to a grocery store that is about 1/2 mile away. It was in the 20's outside but we were never cold in our room.

Your morning afternoon staff is very friendly. I forgot her name but she was the white worker. Really nice upbeat personality and very easy to talk to. Made check in a lot better the. The kitchen ware were clean and looked new. Just loved the stay!

It was average, location is good. Hotel cleanliness average. The rooms are basic but sufficient, wifi is included. The pool was closed, (let down for the kids) main reason this hotel was chosen, also it is not breakfast included. Continental breakfast, which I use that term generously. Parking was easy enough. Some of the staff was very friendly, some of the staff was not. The night person checking me said, â It says here youâre single, if you have a boyfriend or husband coming to stay with you he will need to present his ID to front desk.â
I found that really rude, and inappropriate, I get hotel needs to know of overnight guests staying over age 18. Saying it the manner he did put me on me alert and immediately on the defense for the rest of the trip.
The daytime staff was friendlier. Luckily we were only there in the mornings and at night, with plans to be gone away from the hotel all day. Iâm a local Alaskan that comes to Anchorage couple times a year, for shopping etc. probably will stay somewhere else next time.

Booked this hotel specifically because it had a pool, which is clearly advertised. Was informed the pool has been closed since COVID-19 began, and is not slated to reopen any time soon. That was over 2 YEARS AGO. It is blatant false advertising to still have a pool listed as an amenity for the hotel. This is fraudulent and deceptive and Hotels.com should not allow this to continue. My kid was so disappointed.

Plus side: Room was clean. Staff was friendly.
Floors of entrance and hallways needed vacuuming.
Grab n go breakfast was boring
Just saw âsecurity guardâ sitting in the back corner. Hard to say how much they do.
Major pot smoke outside entrance

Our flights were delayed and we had already rented a cabin in Seward but 3 of our party wasnât arriving until 2am, we got the room so that we could maybe get a few hours of sleep before getting on the unfamiliar roads being tired. They demanded ID from every person staying in the room which was fine, but when they arrived they refused us the room demanding we buy another room for a few hours of sleep. No offer of a refund, just refused to allow us to sleep in the room that was already paid for even though all 4 of us presented our IDâs as required but were refused. We had to drive on limited sleep to Seward with no other options which could have been dangerous and there was no clear policy as to why we were refused. Super unfriendly service do not recommend.

We didnât get in until midnight. They over booked so they upgraded us to a suite for free. Close to the train. We left for the airport so we didnât get to sightsee
