Nice place good location, the rooms are dated and the furniture is let's just say..well used. This place could be great with updated furnishings and carpet.

Central and conveniently located; mile away from the Peace Bridge.
There are some excellent restaurants, cafes and bars within walking distance from the hotel so car is not necessary once you leave your car with hotel's friendly valet service.

Our stay was comfortable and convenient . We were close to Amy establishments. The drinks were great.

Room not ready upon arrival, while waiting we had dinner in your "restaurant"....the waitress had no clue what she was doing, didn't write anything down, nothing came right...you really need to offer a better eating place and food selection. Hyatt Regency used to mean high end to me, and for what the cost per night was, I would have expected a whole lot nicer stay and ambience. This place is outdated and dirty!!! I have experienced a comparable stay at a cheap chain hotel like Super 8 or Holiday Inn. Thanks for yet another ripoff during this horrible economy. Well done Hyatt! I will be sure to share this experience with my business associates and peers, how very disappointing you have become!

The stay was fine. The problem was when we arrived they said our reservation was cancelled and they had to reinstate it. Despite showing them everything on our end from Hotels.com, the hotel did not have our reservation.

This hotel has NO HEAT!!! My 2yr old and I ended up getting really sick on our trip because of it.

The room obviously wasn’t prepared. When I walked in the room, it wasn’t smelling clean and fresh, then there was a sock on the floor and food crumbs. The room was so cold, I had to sleep in my winter coat which didn’t help. It was a miserable night, I got up with a headache and congestion from the frigid night in the room. I called front desk and was eventually moved to another room, it felt warmer but there was Doritos on the floor😳. The elevators stopped working, so we had to take the stairs from the 6th floor. My worst hotel experience!!!

We arrived at check-in time and was told our room wasn't ready. They said around 20 minutes. I kept having to check with the front desk staff. We were in town to see a show. Our room wasn't ready for an hour and 40 minutes past check-in time and 10 minutes before we had to leave for our show. One of the front desk staff was very friendly about it and upgraded our room, but the upgrade still wasn't ready. It made for a very stressful start to our evening.

Room had a section of ceiling that was crumbling due to water damage. HVAC system did not work and we had to move to another room.

The main lobby was fine, but the actual guest room was dated, and dingy, with stains on the carpet. Also, the room was not ready at the 4:00pm check in time

Rooms are dated. Bedding could be better. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant on site was not good.

Great stay in the heart of Buffalo, not more than a 3 block walk to a lot of fun. Stay here! Nice pub inside and restaurant also.

Solid customer service, clean and safe, KC Chiefs hotel of choice in Buffalo (saw some players and team buses during playoff weekend), so obviously a reputable place if you have professional athletes staying at the hotel.

Over all the staff wad very friendly and courteous from the moment we got there a valet was very helpful in pointing out the parking area, check in was very smooth and the staff was very polite and helpful. Also would like to acknowledge the starbucks staff for the same. The room was well stocked and clean. My stay was brief but the staff made it a very enjoyable one.

When we first checked in the lady at the front desk was so friendly and nice and let us check in early but the issue with this hotel is they have no AC in the winter which you would think wouldn't be a problem but there was four of us in a room and all couldn't sleep through the night because it was so hot. We were instructed to turn our heat off which we did and then had maintenance come open our window which only opened a crack, we left the window open all day while we were out and it was still super hot and the only response the hotel could give us was that it is an old building. For this reason I would not recommend this hotel if you do not like sleeping in really hot conditions. Staff was friendly though.

JILL is a rock star. Checking in for NYE, was breeze. We came in earlier than expected and without hesitation she was able to accommodate us, upgraded us to a room with a view for an additional fee. Took me outside to check with Valet which parking was open. She even waited for us to come back to let us know the view wasnt 100%, which the view we have is 90%. Jill is amazing, thank you.

The hotel is very nice and great location to walk to the Hockey game. Has been updated and clean. Needs more plugs for charging stuff. Parking is expensive though. Nice reasonable breakfast.

Parking should be on the same side as the property.
Mostly the service at the restaurant was horrible and when one server is new or slow the other should work as a team and help that server. We sat at the table for an hour with no water and people came after us and had drinks before we had water because they had the other server.

We were travelling with a small dog and made the reservation on Hotels.com. The price I expected to pay was $129 for the night. When I arrived, I told them we had the dog and NO MENTION was made of a pet fee. Days after the stay, I discovered that they had charged a $100 pet fee the desk agent hadn't bothered to mention. So I basically paid double for a little dog who didn't do anything but sleep while we were there. NEVER use this hotel or you will find lots of extra charges for things.

Went over for the Leaf game on Dec 21st. Other than the Leafs getting thumped 9-3, we had a great stay here. Price was good and hotel was perfect for an overnight stay. Got the free street car down Main Street to the arena, which was excellent. No complaints and would stay here again. Staff all friendly and helpful.

Total disappointment, old worn out furniture, their breakfast was worst than horrible, the waitress was very unfriendly. Overall experience was not good.

Terrible shower/tub, no hot water, feels like any renovations in last 10 years went to everything outside of the rooms. Very average for a Hyatt. Will stay elsewhere next time in Buffalo.

Issue at check in, I had pre authorized incidentals. However upon check in it was not processed by the reception person. Seemed like he didn't bother to check it in properly.

This hotel is right downtown, close to everything. It is clean and quiet. The fitness room is great. The parking is right across the street. I’m happy I chose this hotel.

This property was in very close proximity to the disco event I attended. The staff got "into the groove" & dressed up. Ken the manager went above & beyond & was of great help. I would definitely recommend this property & would stay again.
