About this apartment rental
The apartments are located on the second floor (no elevator) of a historic building, Palazzo Gaddi, situated in the bright Piazza della Madonna degli Aldobrandini, home to the famous Medici Chapels.
The Duomo and Piazza della Signoria are just a 3-minute walk away.
The building offers a choice of 3 types of apartments and allows guests to combine multiple units if families or larger groups wish to stay together in the same building.
BLUE SKY SUITE
NOTE: For stays longer than 27 days, utilities (electricity, water, gas, and Wi-Fi) are charged to the guest, plus a final cleaning fee
As you enter the 50-square-meter apartment (renovated and redecorated in 2021), you’ll find a lovely, cozy space: the living room with a pull-out double sofa bed, the dining area with 4 designer azure chairs around a round crystal table, the fully equipped modern, soft blue kitchen with an oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, and gas stove, and the bedroom with a king-size bed, a wardrobe, and a designer armchair. The living room features frescoed ceilings—a light blue sky right above you!
The apartment has a modern bathroom with a large shower and white fixtures (sink, toilet, bidet), as well as a white bathroom cabinet.
There is a convenient closet where the washer-dryer is located.
The apartment is quite quiet and peaceful.
Wi-Fi internet access, LCD TV, AC, plenty of markets nearby, and a special rate agreement with the parking garage located 30 meters from the property.
Free amenities: baby crib, high chair, and baby feeding set.
Check-in day
We do our best to accommodate individual guests’ needs regarding check-in days.
Check-in time: by arrangement with the owner, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Check-out time: by arrangement with the owner, by 10:00 AM.
In case of late arrival: from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, a 30-euro fee; after 10:00 PM, a 50-euro fee.

My wife and I have stayed in this building twice. This apartment and Mariangela are our favorite! The apartment is in a great location, very clean and well equipped. Mariangela checked in several times via message to make sure our stay was going well. We can’t wait to rent Blue Sky apartment again!

This apartment is modern and clean... a great place to stay while touring a Florence. The location is ideal. A few minutes walk from the train station and close to many attractions.
The staff were very attentive and helpful and gave a great orientation on our arrival.

Don't think about this for too long this fabulous apartment might get booked up! My partner and I were fortunate enough to stay for a week in florence. What a treat- this is located across the road from the Medici chapel and San Lorenzo Basilica. I had to pinch myself that I had selected such a great location. Mariangela the owner - what a breathe of fresh air. So relieved she speaks fantastic English- Don't judge me ;). She provided great friendly service. The property is as photographed. I will recommend it to my family. Don't think it will be a hard sell to my Mum;). Really good value - half the price of a hotel. I felt safe at all times in this apartment - this is a good area if you use your common sense :). Thank you Mariangela from Karen and James, Birmingham England.
