Love the size. Two bedrooms with a kitchen was quite spacious for what is actually a small apartment. There was a mixup with our arrival but was dealt with quickly the cleaner (never got his name) who was more than apologetic and efficient with finishing the apartment to a great standard.

We didn't like the fact that the bedrooms couldn't be darkened. Alaskan summer time is a bit bright. The branding is offputting. Called one name throughout so many emails and called another as the emails progressed. Upon arrival the building is called something else. With no management around we felt we were tresspassing and breaking in - especially when the apartment wasn,t quite ready.

What I did like? There was a door that I could lock to be safe, there was a heater that worked and I could stay warm, and lastly there was parking for my vehicle. I'm so grateful that I had people in Anchorage to help me with shower accommodations.

The apartment was not generally or professionally cleaned before I arrived. I have pictures, so someone can fix these issues. There are rusted out Teflon pots and pans, dirty forks in drawer, the kitchen faucet leaked, ceiling lights with no covers. Bathroom awfully dirty, commode was brown, lots of long hair in the bottom of the tub, soap dish and corners; and a visible dirt ring around the tub. Hair at the top of the toilet back. A thick layer of dirt at floor level and on items on the side of toilet and behind door. A swept pile of trash in hall closet, it's like they swept the trash into the closet and left it there. Random items on the bottom TV shelf and a layer of dust on the shelf the TV sits on. The couch was very dirty and stained. The bedroom electrical outlet was hard to find, they should provide surge protector on bedside table. Too many random items on bedside table and no room for personal items on bedside table. Bedroom lamps are too small/low, the bulbs blinds your eyes when on. Front door has large half inch gap, it let in a lot of cold air. This is an easy fix by attaching weather stripping. There are also holes in the sheetrock due to not having a door stop. I used the bathroom sink rug to close the gap for the remainder of my stay. Layers of dirt on the heat registers throughout the apartment. Stains or it looks dirty to me on bedspread, needs to be discarded. Extra pillows but no cases or sheets. One extra pillow has changed from white to BROWN. We had gray sheets wanted to change but couldn't. Only two wash towels where left for us, stained cloth napkins were found, they were so bad they should be discharged. Carpet in bedrooms were dirty. Cable TV cords were a mangled mess next to the TV. Lip prints on the round mirror that someone left. No full length mirror in the apartment. The hallway and stairs to get to the apartment are very dark, none of the other apartments turned on their outside light.
